Yeah I had no idea...  i was figuring he was the same guy who played Jason in the some of the Friday the 13th movies or something.  Guess not as I don't think any of those guys are dead.

Which one of those people is "Chunk"?  The guy in front of the older brother there?  If so, wow he doesn't look a thing like he used to.

Corey Feldman...  hahaha!

Do you think they all asked Sean Astin for a loan while they had his ear?  I'm sorry, I'm being mean.

Hey, I beat you all to it with an IMDB search, so there.

I'll say.  The guy in front of the older brother is Data Round.

Chunk's the bald guy in between Mr. Microphone and Rudy Gamgee.

He looks like a total schlub in that pic, doesn't he?

Not only did he play football, but he was drafted #1 overall.

Why'd they take this new photo?  New supplements for the blu-ray release?

Any word on whether or not Goonies 2 will ever happen?

I can't believe you guys didn't know that Matuszak played football.  I always knew him more as a football player than an actor.

That's what I thought, too, but apparently it was for an article in Empire Magazine.  25th anniversary DVD and Blu-Ray are due next year.  That commentary from the first DVD is still pretty good, I don't know if it can really be improved upon aside from Sean Astin being there for the whole thing.

A little bit of news about a possible Goonies sequel, with the originals in the roles as parents this time around.  They mention having to get around the problem of making an "outdoor" adventure in these days of internet/cell phones/ipods/etc.  It is too bad a simple concept/movie like this, that was a big part of many of our childhoods, can't really make it with today's kids.

My kids (8 and 6) watched it last week for the first time ever and lurved every minute of it.  They were outside playing pirates and goonies the next day.

Yeah, how could they suggest an "outdoor" movie?  Don't they know kids can't go outside?  The world is full of bugs, rusty nails, sun-induced skin cancer and weather...and pedophiles lurking in every shadowy doorway.

Very interesting article.  The Goonies is one of my all time favorite movies and I would like to see a sequel made, if it is done right.  What would be even more cool is if they made some action figures of characters from the original movie. 8)  I would buy those in a Heartbeat.
