That's a pretty cool chase for Bib.

Seriously??

Yes, I think the nods to the Vintage line are great:

Vinyl Jawa, Blue Snaggletooth, J- & L-slot Rocket Fetts, Uzay Snowtrooper, Blue Coat Han

I guess if you look at it like that then it's not so bad. I was just expecting more I suppose.

I guess I'm glad the red version is the chase. Unless I end up with it in my box, or they sell for $40 or less I probably won't get it. With Ree Yees, Tessek, skiff guards, and so many others to do from Jabba's these 2 just feel like a missed opportunity.

The red Bib would have made for a better carded figure for the Parco show than the re-released Anakin. At least then it would have been different enough to consider picking up.

To me, these DX1 chases are like 4-armed Grievous.  Sure, red cloak Bib is cool, but as long as I get the regular one I'm fine.  Can't wait for my box to show up, damnit!!!

Like most, I'm not overly excited by the chases this time around.  Will be interesting to see just how different the Fett is.  I like the Bib with red cloak and will probably try to track it down at some point if I don't get one initially, but it's going to be a low priority if it's one of the $100 chases.  Any word on the third chase?

Not terribly excited over these chases. I don't think i'll go out of my way two track them down. I've ordered a box of 12, so I won't be upset if I find one though.

Hopefully the Fett is only the common chase...I could live with that. I agree with the others that the Red Bib is a little "Meh". Still have high hopes for the other (presumably rare) chase...Fingers crossed for Ree Yees!!!!

I don't think it will be.  Based on what was previously reported, the Amanaman is a 1:12 figure.  Based on past releases, the chases that have been packed in the 1:12 figure boxes have proven to be the rare chases.  Sooo, if the Fett was indeed found in an Amanaman box, then odds are that's one of the rare chases and we have yet to see the common one.

I'd rather Fett was the 1:96...if I don't want him then let him be one of the harder ones to find.

Good point,

since series 3 the common chases have been 2 per master case, both in the same box of 12, with the exception of series 8.

Series 1- 2 Fetts, both 1:96 I believe
Sereis 2- 1 white sandtrooper in each box, IJ 1:96
Series 3 Logray and vinyl Jawa 1:96, Han carbonite 2:48, both in same box
Series 4 Dagobah Vader 1:96, either Han or Luke stormtrooper 2:48 both in same box
Sereis 5 Blue snaggletooth and Ponda Baba 1:96, Han Endor 2:48 both in same box
Series 6- Tarkin and Veers 1:96, Wedge 2:48, both in same box
Series 7- Yak face and sprit Anakin 1:96, blue senate guard 2:48 both in the same box
Series 8- Aurra Sing and Saesee Tiin 1:96, Jar Jar 1:48
Series 9- Zam Wessel and Shaak Ti 1:96, yellow clone 2:48 both in same box
Series 10- 4 arm grievous and Tion 1:96, gree 2:48 both in same box

And we don't know what box Bib came in, do we? I'm hoping 3-PO...

Out in June - Kubricks DLX 1 each box include :
2x Luke ( Jedi Knight )
3x C-3PO & Salacious Crumb
3x R2-D2 ( Jabba's Barge )
2x Chewbacca ( Boushh's Prisoner )
1x Amanaman
1x Bib Fortuna

Wouldn't Lili Ledy Bib be a chase in the reg. Bib box?

Wouldn't Lili Ledy Bib be a chase in the reg. Bib box?

It would make sense to me, but then again so would putting the chases in place of the multi-per box figures. If both Fett and Bib are in 1:12 boxes, that means every single master case has 1 incomplete set of 6. At $700 plus per mastercase, that would be a bit of a bummer. Bib and Amanaman are the only two really "new" characters in the wave, everyone else is just dressed a little different.

I guess from the sound of things that the Fett is a 1/96 chase. It seems like such a weak option given the number of Fetts we have already gotten...we have 13 different versions of this character already. I really hope that they surprise us with final chase but I don't think it's looking likely.

I now have really mixed feelings about this whole move to the DX line. The base set both for this series and series 2 have far to many variants for my liking. So far, out of the eight figures revealed for DX1 we are only really getting two new characters (not counting Jabba)!!!

On top of this, while I do love the Jabba figure, I really am not crazy about the upcoming vehicles announced for DX2 and beyond (AT-ST/Sandspeeder by the looks of things). I don't think they fit in all that well with the rest of the collection. I assume the extra cost of producing these 'build a figures' means less is being spent on the base figures. Right now, if I had to choose between the current waves of reissues/repaints with vehiles and going back to waves with more original figures I think I'd prefer the latter.
