Agreed...

I'm surprised the kid who taunted him (and got popped for his trouble) got nothing though.  If I were his coach he'd be benched at least one game for being an ******* himself.

Probably doesn't go that way if Bradford doesn't get hurt, but it's still nice to see OU lose.

Gators took care of their patsy today: 62 - 3   8)

And if Oklahoma had been picking up the blitz, Bradford wouldn't have gotten hurt.

I went to law school at BYU and lived among those weirdos for three years, so maybe that's why I hate the Cougars (the fans more than the team, really...), but I'm glad a team from our illegitimate conference beat a BCS team.

Bob Stoops keeps saying that Bradford will be out 2-4 weeks. This same type of injury happened to Stephen McGee last year here at Texas A&M, and when he came back he got hit again and was out for the rest of the year. Bradford will be playing against Texas in 2-4 weeks so the smart thing to do would be for Bradford to rehab the crap out of that shoulder and not rush back to the field.

But yeah, OU can kiss their title hopes goodbye. In the 2-4 weeks Bradford will be out, they play Tulsa, which is no pushover, and an away game at Miami, which won't be easy. Not to mention Texas two weeks after that.

I never updated this thread like I wanted to over the season, but that's not going to stop me from creating a Bowl Pick 'Em.

When I first heard just the blurb that he was stepping down, I was hoping it was followed by "....and joining the Dallas Cowboys as their new head coach"... but then it came out for health reasons.

Hope he gets the relaxation he needs.  I didn't know he was that young.  Hopefully he can return (if he wants to).

Now the question is... which Stoops brother will take the Fla. job?

It's definitely weird... either his health isn't that bad and he wanted out and has since been convinced to stay, or his health is bad and he's temporarily trying to create the appearance that he's sticking around so they don't lose all their recruits.

Either way, I wish they'd juts kept quiet about it until everyone was on the same page.

Not wanting to be outdone by Michigan State suspending several players for the Alamo Bowl, Texas Tech has suspended their Head Coach Mike Leach for the game as well.  I guess he is finished in Lubbock... it is sad, his offense and personality made the school fairly visible on the national level for a while, now Tech will get one of those coaches that Runs on 1st and 2nd, Passes on 3rd, Punts on 4th and loses to everyone but Baylor on a regular basis.

The good part... Tech will now be on TV only three times a year (Texas, OU and our Pre-Dec 31st Bowl game) so I can listen to the games on the radio which is actually more enjoyable.
