They should get a new Ackbar out there, and  then do a battle pack with his chair.  Add in a retooled Ackbar as a Calamari Officer, and perhaps an A-wing or B-wing pilot, and you'd be set.

I'd be pretty happy with the list stan posted earlier, and I think most (if not all) of those have been talked about in Q and A's or at least strongly rumored.  It takes care of three of my most wanted resculpts from this movie (Ackbar, Wicket, and Gam. Guard), the long requested Wooof, an AT-ST driver, and an R2 they haven't gotten around to remaking yet since that POTF2 abomination.  A little "main character" light, aside from R2, so I wouldn't be surprised to see the Jedi or Endor Luke, the VTSC Han Solo, or the Biker Scout packed in here as well.

Seriously I am so happy to see these resculpts, I duitched my Ackbar, POTF2 Gamorreans, Most AT-ST Drivers a long time ago. I cannot wait to ditch my two OTC Gamorreans, Wicket, Widdle and Oochee soon. I really want to purge the last of the 90's out of my collection. I prefer to see a 60-40 ratio for awhile. 60% resculpts and 40% new. I am really stoked about the Gammorean I will egt about 6-8 of them alone.

I hope the new gamorrean wouldn´t be so shorter than the potf2 version (this happened with Malakili LC / POTF2).

a challenge for this figure is the articulation, to hold the vibro blade axe or spear

Is Hasbro wants to sell this guy, better they include the two weapons axe and spear to make it more poseable.

For the atst driver?

Well a look more like the imperial technician from LC (Articulation is a must)

Jayson posted an answer from this round of Q&A over at Yak Face.com, and Hasbro confirmed a new Endor Rebel and that it will be the Rebel Sergeant in the trenchcoat seen in a few scenes in the movie, and which Sideshow did an outstanding figure of when they put out their 12" Endor Rebel set.

I can't wait.  Probably THE figure I am now most looking forward to in 2010. :)

I would have preferred the vintage one but this version is welcome. I just hope he is beardless no facial hair please.

The Luke may be both. It could DS2 Luke with cloth robes like the Legacy Endor Battle Pack.

At one point, the middle of 2009, Hasbro said -
"We're hopeful that before 2010 is out you will have the famous Admiral updated and ready to command the ever growing army of Mon Calamari forces"

But that was a while ago...

Also, there was some sort of comment about Wedge on a basic card in the Fall, but I'm not sure if he's in this wave or not...

SNOWTROOPERS got the response that Jeff quoted back in April of 2009.

And in this Nov '09 Bantha Skull session Hasbro stated that 5 out of these 8 characters were set to have figures made over the next 2 years.  On that list?  Admiral Ackbar:

-Admiral Ackbar resculpt
-Barriss Offee resculpt
-Admiral Piett resculpt
-Nein Nunb resculpt
-Weequay skiff guard resculpt
-Wooof
-Visas Marr
-Komari Vosa

Well, Hasbro just confirmed that Barriss Offee is along the way for 2011. I was surprised to see Komari Vosa on this list, because I never expected Hasbro would make her when she's limited to only one source. As for Ackbar, it's a mixed bag, because we obviously have not been receiving hints, like Zam Wesell has been, that he is coming soon.

I'm also confused as to why Hasbro would re-release DS2(?) Luke so soon after his initial 2009 release.

Yeah, I was sort of surprised by that as well - but I guess we're seeing more of that in the realistic line now.  The same thing was said about some of the ESB and ROTS wave figures as well.  It seems like Hasbro is taking any "main" character that fans have found a couple things wrong with and trying to fix them, and that way they can have a strong "anchor" figure for each wave now.
