November? YES! If these get out by this month, then that means there's a better chance of the AOTC wave coming out next month, December!

I am not sure I am too confident with the release schedule. I think these sales will make a nice dent in the Vintage line to make room for this wave but I am surprised this wave did not appear on eBay yet. I am dying for this wave and something new...

Agreed!
I do not believe it, trust but verify. Until I see a sold out message I agree it was a mistake.

Pretty sure it was real as people did get orders placed.

I stand corrected, I hope BBTS get them in this week.

Man this wave is going to hurt my Paypal account, I have two cases, several Gammoreons, Lukes and Rebels as well. I am very much looking forward to this wave, glad this is real!

Yeah I had a long time I could've slapped an order down when I was writing our story up, so I'm sure orders at least slipped through...  Not that it isn't unheard of for stuff to get cancelled, but it was going for a while.

So how do HTS and SWS not have basically unlimited amounts of inventory? I honestly don't get why either site should ever sell out of anything, at least as far as new stuff. They get first dibs on everything and have a direct pipeline to the factories.

I half-suspect that this is some kind of marketing ploy to limit the initial offerings in an attempt to jack up consumer interest.

Hasbro has agreements with the retailers that limit how much they can sell direct to consumers via the HTS site.  TRU, Walmart, and Target don't want Hasbro opening a pipeline and cutting out some of their retail business...

So yes, in theory Hasbro should be the first to get them and should have an unlimited supply... but that would tick off their 3 major buyers, so they don't do it.  Simple as that.

Great wave, but I'm through paying for cases online.  There's too many figures these days packed in that I don't need... and I no longer have the urgency to get figures right when they first come available... besides, the $6.00 price at Wal-Mart is looking really good.

completely agree.  I just cancelled my order for a case of these - it would have been my first case order ever.  I really only want the 7 new figures, but the repacks, coupled with the high price, is making me look back towards the hunt.

$110 for a case of figures in which I only want 8 of them.  Or, the 8 (at least a 2nd Gam Guard) figures I want at retail for $6 each...

edit:  ps - anyone know how many Gam Guards there were in the movie?

A lot...

There's several in the palace chamber, some in the dungeon, several on the barge, several in the entrance...  there's a lot.
