Please Hasbro no more useless Padmes.......

How about the Nexxu attack Padme? She needs and updates and works well in action dios.

Heh, I was being sarcastic there. lol

I really don't want another peasant Anakin, so that's how I was directing my post, in a light jovial tone.

One AOTC figure I'd like to see, and always forget to mention initially, is a re-done AOTC C-3PO.  I think there was talk of him possibly being included if we saw a "sequel" to the Geonosis packs at Target - but with all the "collector stuff" doom and gloom I'm not counting on that.  The best version we have is that old deluxe line version, and that one isn't even all that great.  With all the nice protocol droids we've gotten in the line (through Build a Droid), I'm sure it wouldn't be too tough to whip one up.

Sorry, it was reactionary. I can live without the rest of the shakers. They will only be thrown in a storage bin as figure foundation. I really hate the uselessness of them.

But I would hope the next Padme in line is the arena damage one.

I'm actually tired of Arena Padmes... boring outfit and has been overdone. Give us a new version of Padme!

Outlander Disguise Padme's one I'd like only to go wtih a new Anakin, so that one's on my list...  I'm not a huge Padme fan for her gowns though.  I wouldn't mind seeing the Evolutions Padme with a ripped deco though, like the last arena Padme.  The Evo figure's one of the best sculpts/likenesses of a modern figure IMO, so I'd be down for that repaint.  I was actually pondering that last night when I was reshuffling some figures on the shelving.

My prediction - this is tough

Zam Wesell
Padme (Outland Disguise)
Anakin Skywalker (SA new) - why not they redid Bespin Luke
Clone Trooper (SA new) - SA hips and removable Helmet
SA Barriss Offee
Cliegg Lars
Obi-Wan Kenobi (TLC repack)
Jango Fett (evoutions repack w/ corrected blue jumpsuit)
Count Dooku (evoutions repack)
Mace Windu (Geonsis 2pack repack)
Super Battle Droid  (repack)
Plo Koon (repack)

EXCELLENT IDEA

They can even reuse the SA protocol droid/4-LOM sculpt that they can't use on OT 3POs because of the chrome.

Redone AOTC 3PO is a great choice as well...  One I forget about too because I like the Deluxe one with the removable limbs/head and everything, but I think a new one is long overdue now.

I would be down with this wave except throw in an Arena Padme.

I'd be down. A pretty easy one to create too if they simply repainted a TLC B.A.D. U3PO mold.

I too would be down for a U-3PO repaint as the AOTC version of C-3PO. That would be a great figure.

I also noticed that Hasbro specifically mentioned Zam Wesell as a more-than-likely candidate for an upgrade - why else would they so randomly mention her.

Zam, w/out a doubt, is a character I would snatch off the pegs without a second thought. I few kids would even buy her, she's that cool looking.

I'm not so sure if they would upgrade Barriss this year. Although they might get to her sometime, I think Hasbro would be more concerned giving her a slot in the TCW line considering all her recent appearances in the show.

-Obi-Wan Kenobi (2009 TLC version)
-Anakin Skywalker (2005 Evolutions version)
-Jango Fett (correct color uniform with Boba-style backpack)

Zam Wessell
Jango Fett
Count Dooku
Sarssa Jeng
?
?

If that's the line up thus seems like a big meh. I down with Blue Jango Repack, Zam but the other two I am not so sure. While Dooku could use a new head sculpt as accurate as the ROTS one on the EVO body I am still happy with the EVO one. I would prefer a new Barris over Sarssa Jeng, the screaming Jedi that dies in the battle seems like exclusive pack in fodder to me and not worthy of a single card Vintage style.

My hope is Jango does not count as a new slot and is just a repack. My hope would be (Taking into account the STAN list):

"New"
Mace Windu (New Head sculpt and soft goods lower half)
Zam Wessell
Sarssa Jeng
Anakin Evo (with new Head Sculpt)
Count Dooku (with New Head Sculpt)
Fi-Ek Sirch

Repack/Redeco
Jango Fett (Blue refresh)
C-3P0 SAGA2 Sculpt repaint to look worn
Obi-Wan repack with Kamino Grapple Hook
