Are they going to develop into elite 1200 yard + RB's?  That remains to be seen.  But even though I'm a Giants fan, Rex Ryan has made the Jets somewhat worth watching.

Maybe, but with so many teams implementing a 'two back' system, I don't think it matters.

Young RB?  What's wrong with the second year back in Greene?  Washington is no slouch either - pretty sure he's younger than 30.

Yeah but considering his fibula/tibia was cracked in half and poking through his skin in the middle of last season, I'd expect at this juncture to see mostly Tomlinson/Greene.

So what is the Chargers plan at RB with LT gone?  Sproles isn't big enough to handle a full load by himself...

They're going RB in the 1st round unless a free agent drops into their laps.

I knew the Jets were going to sign LT, stupid move. He is just awful and always shows poor sportsmanship.

NFL changes overtime format for playoff games
Team winning coin toss must score touchdown to win in sudden death

I like it.  Best to have TDs in overtime anyway from a fantasy perspective.  ;)

I'm on board too, but I think it should apply to regular season games as well.

They'll be voting in May to apply it to reg. season games too.

I like it too.  I keep hearing the defense-is-part-of-the-game-too argument... I don't like it when people say that if you lose the coin toss it's no big deal, you just have to play defense.

If you lose the coin toss, you had to play defense then also score, where the team that won it only had to get 40 yards and a FG.  It's definitely better to get each team the ball.

I did find it interesting that the team that gets the coin toss only marches down and scores a FG to win the game about a third of the time.  Nice to see that addressed and there is definitely an advantage there, but that percentage is lower than I think most people expect.

Huh?

Do you just mean in the 1st possession?  I thought the team that wins the toss wins the game something like 63% of the time right now, hence the rule change.

Honestly, I'm not liking it.  I think it should either be sudden death (any scoring method) or a full OT quarter.  Anything else seems like a compromise.  And this thing the NFL chose makes it look almost as ridiculous as OT in college football.
