I can't get over how much ass kicking there is in this Resolute cartoon.

Possible Spoilers...

I can't get over how many people they're bumping off though.  I just watched episode 8 w/ Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow and, BAM!  SS takes the dirt nap.  So, if this is going to be an ongoing cartoon at some point, as much as I personally don't need a SS character to make it good, would Hasbro really want to knock off such a popular character so soon?

Even Bludd, being dead in the premiere was kind of a shock to me.  That's an A list bad guy gone right from the start.

Nice to see a Night Force Tunnel Rat. Now I don't have to buy that gawdawful comic pack with the SS.

Maybe a bit off topic, but I saw this listed at TVShowsonDVD.com.   It has pics, episodes, and specs for the first season set of G.I. Joe on the way this summer.  Looks pretty nice - I always regretted missing the earlier released sets, so I'm glad we're seeing these new ones.

I am glad it is 12" figures and another 3 3/4 Destro and not a 3 3/4 figure I care about.

Good for those who have to have them. I'll gamble these might be Hasbro's slowest-selling con exclusives yet.

Bazooka was a douche, so no loss there to me.

Just for that comment I hope they never make a good Rebel Fleet Trooper.

I just got done watching Resolute on CN. Wow this was by far the most amazing movie I have seen. Shocking for some of the deaths.

Oh come on, it's like he was in the opportunity room or something.  Guy sucked...  He was no Flint or Airborne, lemme tell ya. :)

Flint I can agree with, but Airborne? Come on that guy has the personality of a wet mop. He's basically background character material and always has been. At least Bazooka has had dialogue and actually done things on missions. I'm not saying Bazooka's the best Joe but doesn't deserve douche status.

That goes to Leatherneck.  :)

Oh Leatherneck, don't get me started...  I thought he was Bazooka's older bro. :P

Airborne didn't get dialogue because, much like Snake Eyes and/or Chuck Norris, he didn't need it.  He spoke with his fists!

101st Airborne Sergeant?  Hardly douche material...

Short Bus guy in a football shirt that "uhhhh" 'd out a sentence now and then, and was Alpine's bitch?  Pffft.

;)

Man I love GI Joe...  Resolute was such a really good toon, and I'm so into the thought they'll continue that somehow.  I guess I'm on a GI Joe talking high or something.

I like it, I didn't care for the ending (but SE was bada$$) I wish they did more, like add Firefly to the fight (Firefly is my main Cobra guy), killed couple more joes not just Bazooka.

they could like start over. here are some options

1. make the series an prequel to the resolute movie. (Have Bludd, SS, Zartan alive)
2. Make Destro and Baroness the main baddies with the Iron Grendiers or the M.A.R.S. thing
3. Totally new Villain and new recuits for the joes.

Now your comparing a ******bag like Airborne to Chuck Norris and Snake Eyes?  ::)

101st Airborne Sergeant. Whoopity Doo, Bazooka is a Sergeant as well and I really doubt Airborne could kick Big Boa's ass like Bazooka did, hand to hand mind you.

Please explain how Bazooka is Alpine's bitch? One episode does not constitute a "bitch".

What about that time Alpine and Bazooka found Quick Kick, and Bazooka sang the theme song for the candy bar Quick Kick was promoting?

That was pretty douchey, you've got to admit.  That and the fact that he talked like he'd sustained a traumatic head injury all the time....
