Wow...do we need a new ANH Leia.   We need one bad.  VOTC to me captures the essence of Vintage Leia the most, but is full of flaws.  It looks nothing like Carrie Fisher.  Cut joint elbows.  No/poorly designed outer cloak...and terrible use of soft goods.  EB has the best facial likeness but is basically a statue and has her hood up.  I also looked at Commtech Leia but again...it isn't really a true represntation of Vintage Leia.

So...next wishlist, ANH Leia is getting my vote.

Although the VOTC Leia is nice...I don't think there's really a good looking modern ANH Leia.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Totally agree.  A new one is needed badly.

A new Leia a bit taller, votc line needs a revision in scale.

I'm pretty much in the same realm as the rest of the opinions here...

VOTC Leia's a place-holder at best.  She could be improved, a LOT, and so that's one I'd like to see them redo.  The Medical Frigate Leia from Legacy improved on the body a little bit, at least the articulation, but not a lot.  ANH is a figure that could use a ground-up resculpt though I believe.

I can't say I'd change the scale though...  Leia's tiny, so the figure's tiny.  It works out.  I wouldn't change that.

Although she's not perfect, I think this is still my favorite Leia that I own.

I missed the VOTC when they first came out and spent years tracking them all down individually, (except C3-P0, who I never found!) which amplifies how much I value them I guess.

I agree, although I do have the EB Leia standing next to my vintage one.

Me too. Though it was hard to decide sculpt over articulation.

Sorry chaps, but they nailed it in '95. Hard to beat perfection, I say.

I was reasonably happy with the VOTC Leia at the time, but look at the pics Scott provided, it really does seem like we could use an all-new ANH Leia at some point.  The VOTC one isn't a horrible figure, but really could be improved upon - and to me it is an "essential" Leia, and really the one most people think of when they think of the character (the general public anyways).  Well, aside from possibly the Jabba's Slave version.

I don't know. The FF version isn't terrible. But Commtech is better.

It could be worst....

FF hung on many years on my shelf...  VOTC retired her and Commtech, but FF hung in there a while.

My God man, I have not seen the 95 Leia in years. I remember why know, I burned it out of my memory many moons ago.......now it will take years to purge from my memory once again........

The VOTC Leai can really use an major over haul like the Obi-Wan. New head, arms and legs. They can save the torso, pelvis, belt and hands.
