Ultron is also the same figure, except the Secret Wars one has eyes/mouth painted red, and the single carded one from Wave 15 is painted green in those spots.

Got word that my wave 16 case shipped from Entertainment Earth.  See ya in a week.

Looking forward to wolverine, iceman and absorbing man the most.

I got a couple metal variants of absorbing man already, so I'm actually hoping for clean versions.  The metal versions will be good for trade though if I got more.

That Scarlet Witch looks amazing.  I'm on the fence about Stark/Iron Man...already have so many Iron Man versions from IM2 line.  What's with a holographic Cyclops?   ???

Some neat stuff for this line shown at NYCC.  I thought I would quit or at least seriously scale back picking these up with the return of Legends, but now I'm not so sure.  I may just end up picking up at least some from both lines.  I've gotten the last couple waves from BBTS (and saw them in stores this weekend too), and - at least for the most part - the line continues to see a huge improvement over the initial waves.  They are re-using some older figures (from comic packs primarily) and repainting them for the general line, but the true "all-new" figures really are nicely done.  Some nifty stuff on the way for 2012, if the line gets attention (distribution) with all the Avengers and Spidey movie hoopla next summer.

Oh, maybe.  I think it looks like a visor on there, but maybe it's just a reflection...

Found a case of even newer MU figs at Wal-Mart tonight while giving a coworker a ride home. It was marked as "Wave 5." Snagged Ultimate Magneto and Tony Stark Iron Man. The case also had Absorbing Man, Iceman, Astonishing Wolverine and Steve Rodgers. 2 of each in the case.

Err I guess that's the Wave 16 Dressel mentioned. Also both Absorbing Men were "normal"

Yeah, I missed out on the Compound Hulk as well, although I didn't really care all that much either way I guess.  I was trying to order the Spidey muggs set for my Spidey collection, and figured I just as well add that to the cart as well.  It took me a few hours of error pages before I got an order in later in the day, but the Hulk was gone then.  No biggie.

On a side note, has anyone been finding the "Future Foundation" F4 variant set at retail?  I've seen the normal version at one of our Wal-Marts, but haven't seen the variant version anywhere online or locally.

Brian - I just got the Fantastic Four Future Foundation variant last week from HTS.com  I saw it come in stock, called them up, and they said that all the ones they have in the warehouse are the white variant.  So I ordered one and it was what they said it was.  HTS still has them in stock.  I'm pretty confident that if your order one, it'll be white.  But you might want to call just incase.

As for Compound Hulk, I have one for trade if you can come up with some on my wants list maybe we can put some kind of package together.
