Did you manage to assemble a respectable Alpha Flight, Brent?

So-so.
Assuming I can pick up a Northstar it will be:

Northstar
Aurora
Guardian
Puck

I contemplated keeping a ML Sasquatch but it really towered over the MU scale so I sold it off.  I would still like to see them do a scaled version of Sasquatch, roughly the height of the Abomination/Hulk figures.  Probably not quite right, but not bad.  I'm not holding my breath on that though.  Wouldn't have minded a Snowbird figure either but I completely understand why that wasn't made.

To be completely honest I never much liked the characters in the comic outside of Guardian.  I thought the whole concept was sort of lame.   :-\

 :D

I guess it's love it then.  I just always thought that it was a ridiculously contrived view of "Canada" and what our superheroes would be.  Hello?  Alaska?  Yeah, that's part of the U.S. so you've got that northern **** going on too.  And "Natives"?  Gosh, I guess you wiped them all out.

I mean really, Snowbird?  She can change into animals.  Like maybe a deer or an elk ::)  What awesome frickin' powers.  She was hot, end of story.  Just like the majority of other Marvel (or comic world) female characters.  Teenage boys?

I always thought that the backstory of Wolverine and his relationship with the Hudson's was the most interesting tie-in to Alpha Flight.  And when there was the X-Men/Alpha Flight limited series?  I thought that was a good way of exploring Logan's relationship with Alpha Flight.

Sasquatch and Snowbird were definitely among the most interesting characters to come out of the Alpha Flight books, by far.  Puck to a lesser extent.  And the Hudsons?  I always found it odd that they killed off Guardian, and then his wife took over as Vindicator.  And then Guardian comes back to life a few year later... Stuff like that has always been a bit of a stretch from a pure story standpoint.

This is the Sasquatch you want for your MUs: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Marvel-Toy-Biz-Alpha-Flight-Sasquatch-Action-Figure-/261327053699?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item3cd84e6383

The scale is perfect.

I was going to post the same thing. I have the same scale Man-Thing (pretty much the same figure) in with my MU figures and I think it looks great.

Hmmm.  Looking at the heads, I think those might be different figures.

Thank you and evenflow.  Two against one Nick, I'll take the risk.  Picked one up tonight off EBay.

No worries.  It was tough to discern some of the details on the one that was in the package.

Saw the Omega Red Wave today at my local comic shop and picked up Aurora. I would have bought Northstar too but there was no sign of him. I too want to assemble my own Alpha Flight. I always loved anything John Byrne did.
