I wonder how this R2 will be any different from the awesome 2008 version.

And I have a feeling in my gut that Ki-Adi will come with a plastic lower skirt and non-articulated legs... as is the trend. :(

Thanks to the toy catalog being found in the Fall 2010 Clone Wars vehicles, it looks like this wave has been confirmed:

  '10 CW25 Ki-Adi Mundi
  '10 CW26 Flame Thrower Clone
  '10 CW27 R2-D2
  '10 CW28 Clone Pilot

Pics up now of the flamethrower clone on eBay, as per Yakface. Looks pretty cool!

Cool figure indeed. I can't help but think that the "flamethrower" accessory will be a missile launcher. Like the gatling gun from last year, it isn't awful, but I would prefer to-scale weapons like the rocket launcher that came with Trooper Jek from the WM Ambush 2-packs.

I like the fact that we're getting a soft-goods kama right out of the gate - with the pics of the Freeco speeder w/Cold Weather Gear 501st Trooper, it makes me wish that they had just made the kama on the Cold Weather Gear Rex out of soft-goods as well.

Another image of the Flamethrower Clone turned up in our in-box today!  It's pretty nice showing some of the paint detailing well I think.  Still no sign of a flamethrower accessory though, which makes you start to wonder.   ???

Pics at RS seem to confirm the pilot is Goji.   ;D  I still hope for Broadside and some of the squad Ahsoka led to untimely deaths over Ryloth, but this is cool.

Great pics...does anyone know if the R2 is a straight repack or not? I have heard varying theories on the Interwebz. He has been re-issued so many times I can't even tell anymore.

I thought originally it was supposed to be a new R2 (I remember them mentioning a "swiss army" R2 in the CW line at some point), but from that pic it sort of just looks like a repack.

Hmm. This wave might have hit my area. I saw that pilot today, originally thinking it was Gree. Of course it's hard to tell the waves apart due to all the repacks. ::)

That's one great Ki-Adi Mundi figure. I'm liking all the new Jedi figures we're getting. And it's nice to see he has knee articulation - on his first TCW figure! A lotta Jedi figures get no leg articulation.
