Craziness...found the ENTIRE TPM Wave at Target today at mid-day. I don't have any particular interest in these figures, but some of them look mighty cool.

I did pick up a Ratts Tyerell and Ben Quadrinaros figures which I am hoping to swap someone straight up for a minty boxed TCW Mini-Y-Wing Deluxe set. PM me if interested!

Grievous was the one notable ROTS figure I spotted.

I think Grievous is just shipped in the AOTC wave. I noticed a couple at Five Below this morning. Anyways, here's what I got this morning:

Darth Maul
Darth Sidious
Battle Droid
Queen Armadillo
Ben Quadrinos
Ratts Tyrel
Quinlan Vos
Naboo Guard
Lushros Dofine
3 Storm Troopers (Revenge and Return cards)
3 Super Battle Droids
3 Zam Weasels
1 Kit Fisto

All for $5 each from various stores in the Raleigh, NC area. If you have a Five Below store, don't forget to grab an printed ad from them. You may be able to price match TVC figures at both Target and Wal-Mart.

:D Sounds like an EU creation...since at least half of Star Wars aliens are anthropomorphic Earth animals.

Yeah, five below seems to only have one case and the only non AOTC figures are ROTS Grievous and ANH Sandtrooper.

That matches up with what I've seen.  It would've been nice to find some Magna Guards at 5 Below.

I got a Hyena Bomber for $13-ish...  What a nice toy, and underrated IMO.

I've seen it 4 times and passed it up. Not sure I like the droid fighters enough to get it.

I got Phantom Menace and Empire Strikes Back Blu-ray packs for $12.40 each. The only two figures I already had out of either of them were snowspeeder Luke and Snowtrooper.

Battle droid 2-pack, Snow trooper, Death Star Trooper $3.40 each.

Great thing is 1 out of the 4 wal-marts I went even have the figures marked at the current prices, another had a tag for Legends, but not the other clearance stuff. So a lot more stuff out there since most folks are ignorant to it.

Oh, saw a POTF2 Yoda at one store (one of those returns without a receipt?). For kicks I scanned him...said SEE ASSOCIATE.  :P

Was over in Jackson, MI, Wal-Mart was a bust for any good clearance, but I found Rebel Fleet Trooper there (and at TRU) and finally got one, having only seen it once before IIRC (when I was feeling broke/cheap). (I'm 6 months behind everyone...)

Best likeness of Henry Fonda in 3 3/4" scale.

The ankle belt was a nice idea but doesn't seem to attach solidly enough. Can't quite do the only pose the POTJ Fleet Trooper can do (two-handed shooting pose), probably because they made the vest part of the torso.

It's a good figure, though.  I don't think I'd buy another one at full price, unless they made a new head. Of course, I'm not sure there's anything I'd buy two of at full price anymore.

Finally got a Fett order form,  from online pictures, I noticed the Episode 1 wave doesn't advertize the offer.

nope they dont advertise the offer and they also do not come with the form.  TPM figures come with a form to have a chance at winning a life sized Darth maul that I believe is signed by George Lucas.

Wasn't sure where else to put this but - my local Target reset last night.  Nice big presence for SW.  Problem is that virtually every SKU for 2011 - and, oh by the way, also the 2010 Geonosis sets and the 2010 CW DVD sets - are still here.  The only thing clearanced to this point are the Tauntaun/Landspeeder exclusives.  The Attack Shuttle is here and so is everything else.  I'm confused.  My understanding is most of 2012 is new SKU's, so... is Target waiting for the 1/30 date to reset again?  Does that make sense?  This can be the only answer, if they were holding to the 1/30 date.  Since stores are supposedly clear to sell, then what's the deal?

I don't know about SKU's but I know for a fact the new vintage figures are the exact same DPCI as the old ones - so no change there and thus no need to clearance out the old product.

I am really hoping the new Clone Wars figures are the same DPCI too since I have a bunch to return still, but that is probably less likely given the packaging change.

As far as vintage then, that's risky as the pegs are full.
