Reader EvilAnimation sent along word of a find at his local TJ Maxx store...

Clicky!

He found $4.99 Vintage Wave 4 (AOTC Wave) figures!  Not a bad deal at all considering even B1G1 50% Off sales aren't that good!  Plus some didn't see this wave in quantity...  I'm not one of that group, haha.  I saw tons, but I know others didn't.

Could Wave 3 surface?  Wave 7?  Wave 8 and 9 perhaps?

Wave 7 sure didn't hit too hard anywhere it seemed...  to me, if a wave's ripe for this stuff, it's Wave 7.

Nice find!  Makes you wonder what Hasbro did with all their overstock all these years prior.  IIRC overstock started getting dumped at these discount stores back in 08ish...

EDIT - not sure what SW stuff is on HTS, but FNF20FS will give you 20% off in combo with the free shipping.

Woot!  That's one hell of a deal.  I'll be hitting TJ Maxx stores a lot this month if I can.

Seems like Marshalls stores may be worth a looksee for Vintage and other SW toys.

Marshalls and TJ Maxx are owned by the same company so they both carry the same items....Just can't cross return/exchange for some reason.  I've been hitting those stores for years off and on picking up GI Joe and Transformer stuff and the occassional SW leftover.

nothing good figure wise, we got a Marshals and a Ross literally next door to each other.  Couple Force Battlers, an @$$ load of Boba Fett Helmets, some GI Joe "mini-rigs" and 1 Geonosis Rodian Jedi set.  I did see a "limited edition" metallic paint TF Bumblebee for $34, that was tempting even tho I'm not a TF collector it looked d@mn cool.

I haven't found a single star wars figure yet at TJMaxx, although I suppose it's possible they could have been there.  The store is such a disorganized mess.

My Toys r Us is offering Buy One-Get One Free on Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man figures.  Doesn't apply to MArvel Universe, but if anyone's looking for the movie line figures, that is a pretty nice deal.

I've been to a TJ Maxx and a Marshalls and they have like four spots in each store with toys but not a Star Wars figure in either.

Have they been found at both Marshalls and TJ Maxx or just one or the other?  I know they often end up at both...

Looks like everything Star Wars is on sale at Target this week - including the soon to be clearanced exclusives.  Not much of a sale though....
