This set is kinda far out, so hopefully the final product looks better. The blue is waaaayyyy too shiny and the gray is too bland. Hopefully they end up looking closer to the Mando that comes with the Vespa Scooter Speeder Bike.

Same with Ackbar's head and Wicket's entire body from what I've seen so far...Not sure what's up with that.

An army builder's dream there.

Not in my eye$.  I still don't get why we're getting 1 less figure and we're paying $4 more in these sets, but I'm sure McMetal and others are happy.   :)

I assume it's just because they are prototypes and not production pieces.

Indeed a good Army Builder there and customisers dream too, many colour and weathering options could be applied.

I'll be looking for them to add to my collection for sure.

Yeah, Jayson's right.  These items are all hand-painted prototypes...  Final figures will be significantly different looking, and always are, compared to the show pieces.

Eh, not that exciting... at least not to me.

Not much in the CW styling really is to me though.

Yeah, I'm digging it. The whole price/value thing does not really play into it for me, but I agree it'd be nice to have more for the $$$.

Were there any pics of the ARC Troopers set that is reportedly part of this BP wave?

&

We received a production image of one of the Death Watch Mando Warrior battlepack figures today.  Just head on out to www.JediDefender.com to check him out...  Note that he's not shiney. :)  Everyone should be happy now, right?

Thanks for the pics JJ. They have me excited about this set. I'm hoping that at least one rifle will be included in the final release... can't have all the Mandos using pistols!

Tunghori has all four versions up for sale now individually priced at - I am pretty sure - $6.99.

I'm really looking forward to this set. I wish they'd do more army building sets like this in the realistic line.
