Latest toy rag is claiming the Playmates line will be 3.75"?  I think it's Tomarts but not sure...

Wha wha wha!?  Now that'll be something to see if they really treat it well.  I very well may need to start a small "evening" business because that is what I always wished Star Trek figures were (at least the Next Generation era characters)...  If they're good, I don't know how I'll be capable of passing on them unless it's TOS only which isn't my cup of tea.

It is only for the new movie,  Playmate has the rights for the new movie and beyound, while Dimond holds the rights for all things past.

Not really interested in these, unless they're good custom fodder.

Whew...  I was sorta scared there for a moment.  I've wished for a while now for a 3.75" Trek line, but with IJ I don't think I could afford that, Star Wars, etc.  Just too much...  Down the road, I'd love to see some 3.75" Trek again though, especially if they're high quality.

Diamond's stuff I keep looking at and drooling...  It's incredible, but it's a scale I'm not interested in.

I may get into it, but I'm waiting to see it first...  If it was TNG/DS9/Voyager figures though, I'd be hooked. :(

I only want 3 3/4" if they can make characters from earlier shows too.  Otherwise, I would rather see a scale similar to Diamond/AA or 1992-2000 Playmates because there are too many scales.

Moar Johnny Lightning!

You'd think that, with as many times as they rerelease the same molds, that I'd have a Voyager and Enterprise-D by now. As it is, the local TRU will get one case, the Hot Wheels guys will buy it all, and I'll be looking at a lone Borg Cube or whatever for weeks before somebody buys it.

Also, Star Trek: The Experience is closing for good on September 1st.

Too bad about the Star Trek experience. The cool thing about that was that the bridge set was 100% to scale to the actual set.

Also, Star Trek: The Experience is closing for good on September 1st.

My parents took me when I was four and I was screaming and bawling after the pitch black elevator part. All the Starfleet guys were trying to help get me to stop crying while at the same time giving the tour of the Enterprise and talking to Klingons on the bridge. That must've been pretty funny to watch. ;D

It's a bummer to hear that it's closing, I have some good memories there. :-\

I seen some ST figures at TRU today, singles for $13.99 & the Death Of Spock Kirk & Spock 2-pk for $30. CDN. I'll have to tell my friend about them, he maybe interested.

I see there must be a line of toys (several actually) on the way for the new movie next year.  No pics up (maybe there was at Comic Con and I missed it), but BBTS has preorders up.  There looks to be 12" figures, 6" figures, and 3 3/4" figures, as well as role play items and a couple of playsets.

I'm intrigued by the 3.75" line possibilities...  I'm down for them if the price is right and they're decent looking.

I have a bunch of rarer, 90's Star Trek figures.  Anyone interested in these?  I've been meaning to get a list together, but not sure what the market is like for ST these days...

I never went even though I lived out there for a number of years.  Heard it was okay though.
