$55's a steal.  That is indeed a pretty big vehicle ultimately.  I'll take one of those gladly.

The bad news is my AP is expired. Due to the house remodel this past summer, we are not planning on renewing this year.

Gotta make the priorities.  If it's like all their other exclusives, it'll hang around.

In that case it's about time we drag JediMAC out of wherever he's hiding.

There's always Paul.  That's my motto.

But yeah, we need a MAC attack.

Has anyone seen this in action at a show to understand the features?  Do the doors open?  Does it have lights/sounds?

As I recall the original smaller version they sold years ago didn't have operable doors, etc. and I ended up selling it because it was kind of lame.

Has anyone seen this in action at a show to understand the features?

It has not been officially unveiled or shown at any shows yet, the pic in the latest insider is pretty much all we have seen of the final product (assuming that is the final product in the SW Insider).

If the original draft copy on the back of the prototype box can be trusted, it looks like it will have...
- 4 changable view screens (based on the ride)
- spots for up to 10 standard 3.75" figures
- a removable roof
- a slot for a removable R2-D2
- a hidden nook for a camera droid
- fully functioning passenger doors
- hidden pop-out guns
- have lights and C-3PO sound bites from the ride

Again, this was the prototype box so no guarantees all that makes the final product.  Though the insider text in the pic above (which is small, so it's hard to read for now) seems to confirm most of them.

Thanks Jeff.  I hadn't seen the back of the prototype box before.

Looks pretty decent for a $55 exclusive.

Hmmm, this is making me begin to regret selling off the droids I had a few years back!  I still have one of the boarding party members though.  Not sure yet if I'm getting one- I'd prefer to make a full diorama of the ride if I do get one.

Now we need a c-3po that can sit in a chair.  I wonder if Captain Rex can fit in there?

I wasn't sure what "AP" meant.  I am guessing "advance pass".  Wouldn't these still be available in Downtown Disney or somewhere else outside the actual park?
