I'm going to guess yes, however I won't like that either if they wind up NOT being articulated.  I'm with you on that Jabba.

The input drawings show insert moulded ankles and knees ....relax. :)

These look great -Bom even better than i imagined!

That skiffmaster will look great once his arms are posed neutrally.

Hmmm. I wonder what cantina figures will be in the 2012 lineup.

My hunch is Modal Node,Bannis Keeg and Arliel schous -and if we get four -New Takeel.

Nice pics - and thanks.....all look pretty good to me - passing on the ROTS character, but may pick up the video game one - the Rebel Fleet Trooper and the good Doctor look to be the standouts
Waiting for you in my special place...

Actually, the only thing that looks off is that Weequay's head is too small.  Compare it to the inset picture.  That's why he looks so poofy.

Echoing others....thanks for the pics Scott.  I think everything looks pretty great too.  Nice to (finally) get a real nice version of a primary Rebel army builder like that.  I think that Bom Vimdin is my favorite of what we've seen so far though, just really cool.  Like many others, he was top of my Cantina list as well, and it looks like they really hit it out of the park here.  Weequay and Barriss are welcome too, looks like some really nice stuff there.

Thanks Scott, seeing the details better makes this wave that much better. I really cannot wait to see the Feb Toy Fair SW showing after seeing this. There are so many characters that I want redone, it's amazing how Hasbro is hitting homeruns with every figure they make now. Wave 5 is more forgivable.

Where is that AOTC wave? I am ready for more Vintage!

Does that Stan guy work for Hasbro?  Guess I never really cared enough to ask...BMF Sandcrawler would rock, but I can't see that happening.  It's a rolling brick.

I just posted these but it disappeared?

I hope to see this thread exploding with lots of good comments today, in light of the RS Vintage pre-Toy Fair rumor news on their front page:

Captain Tarpals?  :)

Orray? New Taun-taun sculpt?  :D

New Speeder Bike sculpt?  ;D

BMF-style Jawa Sandcrawler?!?!  :o

Let's discuss!

Yeah, and they already indicated the only "BIG" item this year was for TCW, so maybe this is all BS or just loitering in their metaphorical "parking lot".

Are they even going to make mid-size vehicles for this line anymore? They have really dwindled in terms of recent offerings...

while all of those are not real wants for me (except probably the speeder bike) in terms of being at the top of my list - they are all winning choices for sure imo and I would gladly pick them all up.

Sounds like a list of a designer's desk... I refuse to believe they'd put out a Sandcrawler above $80.  Even if I see it at retail some day in a few years, I'll still refuse to believe it.

A nice rumor list, but as usual, a huge grain of salt.  Personally, a new Taun Taun is one of my biggest wants from the line, so I hope that does pan out eventually (although Empire's anniversary would have been the perfect time for that).  Same goes for the Speeder Bike, I'd love to see a new version of that (hopefully with a flight stand of some sort as well).  I'd be all for a "BMF" Sandcrawler, but I'd be really surprised if we saw that.  The last version (which I regrettably missed) I believe got clearanced out when it started out at like $60, right?  It would sure be neat though, and I'd definitely pick one up.

I think a BMF Sandcrawler is not...too out of the question.  It's a very good playset, and features heavily in the Lego Star Wars game, so it has a chance.

Too bad they didn't do that during build a droid, and you could set up inside.

Who knows, maybe they will take adavantage of all the BAD parts, and use them as pack in stuff.

It could also have some sort of hidden gun, or winch, or crane or something, for play value.  Plus lots of hatches and stairs and play spaces. It could even have some sort of Mini-Rig that rolls  out like the BMF's life pod thingy. The more I think about it, the more I think it could be super cool.

Sandcrawler would be cool, but I'd much prefer a Sail Barge, Death Star, Bespin Playset, Echo Base, etc.
