Kithaba just looks great, but I'm predicting the one figure is going to irk some folks.

I guess I am slow on the uptake...which one and why?

The big helmeted fool or the EU tool?

It is cool they are making 3 3/4" toys based on the 80's Masters of the Universe movie. I'd think Mattel would have the rights, though.  :P

That EU thing better ship in small quantities.  My totally non-scientific observations show that the Quinlan Vos is the real pegwarmer of the TPM wave, and not surprisingly so.

Maybe it'll be like Bastila Shan and ship in no quantities.

I somehow doubt Nom de Guerre there will be a peg warmer. It'll be the episode 1 reships that will be around and around...except maybe Maul.

The former...  I think not everyone is going to like that.  There's some distortion going on there too, could be the packaging though.

I do this every time and I should just let it go but I can't, YAY FOR NOM ANOR!!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My dream is for the day when no one can ever buy another figure because every Target, TRU, WM is so overstocked with EU figs and has no need to re order.  ::)

That's when everyone from the forums buys the EU figures and dumps them on your favorite story.  ;)  :-*

I wish that were the case.  I never saw Bastilla Shan and I really want to get Malgus and Nom Anor.
This is the way.

I have spoken.

Why on Earth is Hasbro still using those horribly over-sized helmets on the clones?  Good grief.

So everyone can buy a "corrected" version next year or whenever.

I'm probably giving them too much credit there.

Some very dreamy pics in several Ebay auctions...

Clicky to visit the store.

Lots of loose pics, which are always nice, but yeah I really like this wave...  except Nom Anor.  At the prices things cost now, I really feel compelled not to buy stuff like that.

there are some really nice Hi-def picks up for other auctions by this guy now.  Kithaba does look smaller than what I would have imagined him to be

edit:  so Nom Anor Doesn't come with a hood?

Why on Earth is Hasbro still using those horribly over-sized helmets on the clones?  Good grief.

It was an over-reaction to the Clones that had been released in the Episode III line.  Those Clone Troopers that had removable helmets looked okay with the helmets on.  But with the helmets off, they looked like pinheads.

You have to suspect that some of this is rooted in the fact that the Clone Troopers were all CG in Episode II & Episode III.  The helmets never had to be a practical prop that would be put on or removed like the Stormtrooper helmets of the OT.  If you look at a Clone Trooper image side by side with a Stormtrooper from the OT, you're going to notice a significant difference in the size of the two helmets.  The Stormtrooper helmets are much bigger in comparison because of the needs of the practical prop.  The Clone helmets in contrast don't appear to have been designed for practical use.  And it looks as though that sizing issue has had the added effect of impacting the Clone Trooper action figure when there's a removable helmet in the mix.
