The Return of a Bounty Hunter?
« on: August 12, 2003, 09:41 AM »
Most of you probably heard yesterday that Temuera Morrison will be returning for Episode III

Do you think this is to play Boba?  Older Clones? Specially geared Clones who are trained to wipe out Jedi...

I'm going for the last one, Super Troopers who have been trained secretly by Palpy to wipe out the Jedi

I think that he will be playing a clone trooper of some kind.  I doubt that he will be playing Boba since Boba would only be 13 or so in Ep3 and it would a dumb idea to have Boba be in his middle ages in Episode 3 since tha would make him 56 or so in TESB if you figure he would be around 30 in E3.

I heard that he's going to be playing a Jawa for most of the film, but is also being yoda's stunt double for a couple of scenes.

He will not be playing a clone trooper. He didn't play a clone trooper in Episode II either. Adult clones DO NOT look like Jango Fett, they are genetically altered.

He will not be playing Boba Fett. Boba will only be 13 years old in Episode III, and according to Episode II, though he is a genetically UNALTERED clone of Jango, he doesn't age as fast as the clone troopers.

He WILL be playing Jango in a flashback/pre-recorded holographic message. Peter Mayhew told me.
Post sober.

Woah, that is awsome. I was kinda hoping that he would be playing Boba Fett, but as I thought about it more, it didn't make sense.

This is fresh of hyperspace today, it should but this debate in the senate to rest.  "Tem is back, as one of the faces of the Republic clone troopers. Some of the soldiers are older, grizzled with Tem's face -- enhanced with battle scars, while others are more fresh-faced, played by Bodie Taylor. As Bodie did for Episode II's clone commissary scene, the actors film multiple takes of the same scene, in different positions, so that they can properly duplicated into large numbers. Since the clone trooper armor will continue to be computer-generated, Bodie and Tem wear blue bodysuits, lined with tracking markers to help gather performance data. "I just need their heads," says Rob Coleman.

If you haven't got hyperspace get it, it's worth it if you're a fan.

Don't ever trust what Mr Mayhew says.  He told me I looked really nice in my pink ball gown, but everbody just pointed and laughed.  He spins lie after lie.

TM will be playing clones. The question is why will a clone be taking off his helmet? Rogue Clone?

Thousands of the clones had their helmets off in episode 2 when they were training.  We saw them all collecting their helmets.  Besides his face is being used for lots of clones, not one rouge clone.
