I've been waiting for a chance at the classic Y-Wing for a while after passing on the 30th AC version a while back due to lack of funds. I look forward to seeing it, I'm good for BMF treatment or even just the retooling. Hopefully it comes with a droid.

This could be a mis-named or unseen product rather than the full-size Y-Wing that has been rumored. A mini-rig Y-Wing might be neat.

Scalper store?  ???

I'm really intrigued.  $19.99?

I can't say that I'd agree that a Mini-Rig Y-Wing would be neat, but  I'm open to whatever it is they're going to do here.  When pics surface, I'll bail on it if it sucks I guess.

I was just pondering last night "Deluxe Fig w/Vehicle" sets from the OT Though.  I'm pretty well locked into getting these new mini-rigs that are all made up here.  I liked them more and will just remove some of the dumber looking stuff like 30 blasters on a vehicle the size of a moped by Star Wars standards.

Some OT ideas might be neat...  I liked stuff like the MLC3 back in the day.  Completely feasible as a small basically mobile gun...  Like a .50 rolling around on a platform.  Stuff like that was always cool to me.

Looks real to me, including the TRU exclusive sticker. Australia gets everything first so I'm not sure everyone is doubting this. I wish the POTF2 Nien Numb was a resculpted one. I like it!

Some thoughts...

A) That's a pretty elaborate hoax for the box and the vehicle.  The paintjob's fairly elaborate for what it is, and the box is clearly a really elaborate attempt.  Plus it's not easy to fake boxes with anything but photoshop.  That doesn't look photoshopped to me though.

B) That jives with what Hasbro said...  There's some cockpit retooling, maybe gun/droid socket retooling, but otherwise it's barely been modified.  I'm not impressed if this is the final item though.

I wonder how accommodating the droid socket is considering the different molds out there for astromechs now.

Just looking at the image, and assuming the thing is legitimate, there's gaps at the shoulders there on what looks like it could be the new Bar2-D2 figure in the cockpit.  It may work with multiple droids then, but that Bar2 is a little smaller too...  I don't know.

You'd think that'd be the one thing they'd definitely want to tool differently, so it accepts the multitude of droids that are out there.

Unless this comes with a really awesome figure, I'll be passing.  I'm really disappointed in what this ultimately turned out to be.  That mold needs tossed and a "BMF" style Y-Wing done.  That and the X-Wing really need big upgrades to make them to-scale and look right with the BMF TIE Fighter.

I'd laugh if the figure it comes with is Ackbar...  the guy's tired of taking the helm of the big slugs and wants to get his hands dirty now.

Whoops, I was going by the title assuming it was still coming with one...

Though I still think that may wind up being some kind of Deluxe Figure w/Vehicle too.  $19.99 is too cheap for the above box, but on BBTS that's just about right for Deluxe...  Clone Wars pilot with a mini-rig of some sort?  Maybe mislabeled or something?

Just a thought.

Vinty Y-Wing though, no figure I guess.  Kind of makes that BBTS listing allt he more interesting.

Yeah, that's being true to the figure selection on the Kenner box. Maybe a bit too faithful!

That POTF Nein Nunb...really glaring reminder about how much a new one is needed.

The lando's a little weird too.  Did they slap the vinyl cape on him?  Odd choice to go that route if that's teh case.  Or is that the POTJ Lando?  It doesn't really look like VOTC Lando.
