I just got my Jumbo C-3PO in this week.  I really like this one, although he's a lot more of an orange tone than the original 3 3/4 figure.  R2 comes out later this month I think, so they'll look great together.

That's great to hear.  I have been passing on these two because I wasn't sure they were worth the price, but sounds like they're at least on par with the rest of the line.

With the possible exception of Chewbacca, these two: C2PO and R2 are my favorite of the line.  I loved Threepio by himself, had him for awhile, he's just so gold and shiny, but add in R2 and you can't beat them together.

Anybody know why R2 costs more than most of the others?  Seems like he would be equal or less, but I always see him at $70 or more.  I've had pretty good luck getting these for $60 or less thus far, so hoping the price comes down further.

My guess is a combination of stickers, vac-metal and the components to make the clicky head.  ???

Vac Metal is expensive...  It's the same reason 3PO costs a little more.

I just bought C-3PO and R2-D2 from mostwantedcollectibles for $138.66 shipped.  I can't wait to get these.

I saw R2-D2 at Source Comics today but it was $80.  I thought about buyingit but I wanted both droids at once.

Is that the store by the fair grounds? I'm tempted now. Dang you!!!  ;)

Stopped in Sunday. Didn't see it. Asked about it and one of the guys said he remembered someone buying it on Saturday. Oh well. Probably a good thing I didn't start my way down the slope.
