I think the Tauntaun priced out at $16.99, so it's not such a bitter pill to swallow.  As long as this one is specific to Luke, and the battle pack version is specific to Han, I'm fine with this.

I rate this a D minus so far. No new vintage figures yet, so what can you say.

It's only preview night, more stuff is coming. How much of it do we already know about is the question.  :P

Yeah, it's too soon to rate it...  If Friday comes and goes, and there's nothing positive really, then yeah I'd say D ratings are even high.

Heck, there are even figures displayed that are considered "available now" that I've never seen in stores.

Yeah, I had to LOL at the placard for Savage Oppress: "Available: NOW"

Sure it is. In Bizarro-world!

Where figures still cost $5 and the Tonnika Sisters were made in 2000. Also, the prequels were good.  ;)

Ooh, I like the Landspeeder and Luke's Taun-Taun.  I'm not a package collector anymore, but those are tempting anyway...  definitely panning on pick up Luke's Taun-Taun (unless there ends up being another, non-Kenner packaged version someplace).

Also like that Mando Shuttle from the CW vehicles.  Kind of nifty and a great place to cram all the Mandos from that Battle Pack I bought...  :P

I was thinking the same thing - a seat for Pre Viszla, the 4 Mando Warrior battle pack figs and the one that came with the speeder bike.

Hey, I forgot to pick up the Mandalorian battle pack.  And now that's scarce as all get-out.  ::)

judging by cardbacks look like the Nom wave has merged with the Ponda wave. My hunch is the wave after this will have Kithaba, Evazon
,As well as -R2 A5,Maul and Jar Jar.  But we will find out soon enough.

I found it shocking and pathetic that Hasbro actually had the Target TCW 2-packs on display, the exact same two sets that are currently being clearanced around the country.

I don't see the point in showing off stuff that has been out for months, like the Endor Pilot sets and Kit Fisto's Jedi Starfighter.

I get that they move some stuff around and may hold stuff back until after the slideshow, but there has to have been something more current they could have thrown in there. I did not see the new B-Wing for example.

The Mando Shuttle is my favorite new item thus far.  A cockpit that holds 6 figures?  Very cool.  I'll probably pick up the Taun Taun too.  Not happy about the price, but it's not that far out in a world where basic figures are $10 or more.  Jury is still out on the Landspeeder - it looks good and the vintage box is pretty spiffy, but this is one of those vehicles that has really stood the test of time.  Unless they're adding lights and sounds, I don't really need an upgrade.  Pretty underwhelmed at some of the new figures as well.  Bastilla Shan for example looks awful.   :-\
