The display 501st trooper has a super sized helmet...hope that's not the final product.

No kidding.  If they'd size the helmet down to look good, I'd get a dozen.  But if that's the final product, I won't get any.

I wonder why in the hell they don't scale the helmet down for the Phase 2 grunt helmets?  They did it years ago for Cody and the Airborne Trooper, and they look great!  I wish someone would get in the face of the Hasbro reps and ask them this.   :-\

Of note, on that display piece for the 501st trooper, you can actually see a hint of yellowing already on the helmet.

I will see if I can get a couple good lighting shots of that for you.

May I make a suggestion? If the picture is blurry, don't post it.

I'd love to see a picture of the new Slave Leia head sculpt, if they happen to take off the mask/coverings.

I agree Slave Leia head improved since tlc version
I regret Hoth Luke doesn´t have removable hat

What I see about the navy commander is that he shows more straight legs
and the torso is corrected in a more solid appearnce than the tac version.

They aren't "blurry" they are the beginning of a "Dream Sequence"......

This is what happens when I am taking photos and not Rob, Jesse or Jeff.

Also for the HangOut/Happy hour, why not that Bar in the Lobby at Javits.  We will all be there anyway and don't have to spend time travelling.

Would some of the guys be able to get in if they don't have tickets for tonight but want to hang out?

No worries, I appreciate it but I think I saw a couple now that show it's turning green already.

But - what is just as aggravating to me is that it appears as though they're still using big fat helmets.  I don't get it.  What a letdown.  If that's the case, I went from buying about a dozen of each Phase 2 clone with the new body sculpt to zero.

- was anyone out there asking for a Vintage packages AT-AP from RotS?  ???

I'm betting this is just the first in some already released vehicles making their way into vintage packages.  That part of the line doesn't seem to be doing so well from my small smaple of store checks, so maybe this is how they plan to liven it up a bit.  I do think the packaging looks kind of cool.

Overall, I'm most impressed with most of the vintage wave figures.  In particular, Mon Cal Pilot, Dust Storm Leia, Luke Jedi, Lil' Ani, Cracken, the Navy Commander, and Naboo Royal Guard are all fantastic.  I didn't see the pictures of a vintage Dewback box, but that would be a must have for me as well.
Climbed a mountain & never came back. I will not quit & I always fight back
From this moment for all my life. What could I say? Was born to be this way. And what could I say?  Just livin' for today

It's not in a vintage box. It's packed in the "Maul" packaging and exclusive to Walmart.

I like most of the vintage figures shown.  I am hoping the make a grey Death Squad Commander figure someday and preferably on a vintage cardback.  I like about anything with a vintage cardback so I'm in for Luke Hoth, Deleted Scenes figures, and even Maul, Kenobi, and Jinn on the TPM vintage cardback style.  Of coure Kithaba and the others are nice to look forward to.

I am kind of surprised they did not show off their Naboo fighter.  I want to see what it looks like.  I was sort of hoping, wishing, dreaming they would make an all new podracer of some other character.  Obviously they need to focus on Sebulba and Anakin,  I am kind of shocked they did not throw in the figures as a pack-in though.

The light up figures are something my oldest kid will go for.  I don't mind those.  They look better than those Power of the Force versions.  Although I always like the Emperor figure with the Force Bolts light up feature.

I'd like to get that Dewback.  The Royal Starship Droics 4 pack is pretty cool IMO.  I may get that for the hell of it.

So, there are some pics floating around out there of the Walmart TPM figures (Ric, Aurra, Mawhonic, etc).  I know there aren't too many carded collectors left out there, but the ones that are left have to be rolling their eyes at those Walmart basic figure packages with the 3D glasses attached to the cardback.   ::)
