Got a box load of loose figures at a moving sale, mostly POTF, but some Episode 1, Saga 1 and Tartakovsky Clone Wars as well. Haven't even finished going through the box. Finally got some of the original 90's EU figures, Thrawn,  Dark Empire Luke, Mara Jade,  young Emperor and a Sentinel (had one already, MOC). They are decent, Luke and Palpatine seem less preposed than their comic pack versions (which is why I skipped the comic pack).

Is the Sentinel the figure that was supposedly modelled after Atha Prime?

If so, I still need that.

Yes, that's him. Atha Prime was based on Royal Guard concept art, IIRC.

The figure is essentially a "salt shaker" with 3 joints, but still cool looking. Light-pipe eyes, too.

I didn't mind the comic versions but their capes are stupid.  And I'm real anti prepose stuff if that helps.  I loved those EU when they came out...  God I ordered those of the fan club.  Blah.

The recent ones I got were C-3PO with removable limbs, the ugnaughts, Owen Lars and Beru Lars. I'm hoping to get Admiral Piett.

Why the interest in POTF2 figures?  Granted some are good sculpts, but a lot of figures have been greatly improved over the last 20 years.

Are you guys just filling holes?
This is the way.

I have several opened POTF2 figures. They are RD-D2, Lando, Fett, Tatooine Ben, and Vader. Looks like the original price was $6.99 each so they've gone down in value I suppose. I agree with some earlier comments that the newer lines are so much nicer then these. The defining characteristic of the POTF2 in my eyes is how ripped out the majority of the figures are.
