Still no news on Hasbro exclusives, but this year (for the first time) Hallmark will be selling a Keepsake Ornament 2-Pack featuring R2-Q5 and R2-A3 - pic.

Yeah that's kind of a neat exclusive if you're really into  the ornaments.  I'm not a die-hard for ornaments, but obscure stuff like that is at least interesting.

Well, I'll bump this up since this is coming up in a few weeks.  Anyone hitting this?  Looks like Ian McDiarmid and Carrie Fisher will be there SW-wise.

I think Hasbro is skipping this, but JTA mentioned something about an independent thing that I saw on facebook.  I didn't see any specifics though.

Hasbro is having a Preview Night Party on Wed evening from 7-10 where they are showing "new" product. As far as I understand they are not having any presentation of any kind but the items from the Preview Night will be on display fir NYCC.

I put it off because I'm lazy, and the requirements were really a pain in the ass this year, but I got approved for a press pass agian this year and will be at NYCC Saturday and Sunday.

I'll have coverage on Twitter and Facebook and then more info posted after the show.  It was already mentioned, but Hasbro will have some type of presence at NYCC, they are doing a Transformer's panel but I didn't see anything for SW or GI Joe, and no booth.

I know it's a little early yet, but anyone going to NYCC this year?

Press passes already approved.  I'll be there Saturday and Sunday.

Since I've moved, I'm likely not going to be there.  :(  I'll miss hanging with fellow con Mike!

Have fun, Jeff.  Look up Speedermike.  He usually goes (at least I met up with him the 2 years I was living there).

Does that mean that Hasbro is doing a show if you are going?

I'm trying to see if there are any GoT or SW exclusives at this con.  Don't want to miss out.

The Rebels Panel may be quite interesting!  And I see Acid Rain World will have a presence.  I'm so down I can't go. :(

To the best of my knowledge, no, but I could be wrong...  Hallmark perhaps, but outside of them I don't believe so.  Hasbro's stuff at SDCC is usually it for them and everyone else it seems like at best they maybe bring the SDCC extras with them.

NYCC's gaining momentum every year it seems.  Good for them...  I hope I can go some year. :)
