The first picture Jayson posted there is actually Secret Strike Loki, not King Loki.  This is King Loki from the Thor line, almost nobody found him:

It is a totally different figure from the Avengers Loki.  I did buy the new Avengers Loki and for me it completely takes the place of the King Loki figure.  This Avengers Loki is less articulated but you can still pose him a few cool ways.  And I like his helmet and face sculpt better:

I had posted about this last week over at marvelousnews.

All I've seen is the Shield firing CAp and concept Hawkeye; wouldn't mind have a regular CAp and Thor to go along with the bunches of Iron Men I have plus Nick Fury and Black Widow.

Thanks for the pics.  I'm definitely liking the Avengers version better.

I like both versions - hopefully the Thor version will hit TJ Maxx or something....  I need King Laufey too of course.

Picked up Sword Spike Thor with the helmet on, not sure if this is a variant like the unmasked Cap.

I've only seen that Thor with the helmet so far.

Picked up my first ever Marvel figure yesterday. Had to go with Avengers Iron Man MkVII:

I assume those are Jayson special effects and not a light up feature from the figure, right?  I love the Avengers, but have not been able to bring myself to buy any of these yet.  I have like 6 Captain Americas and a few dozen Iron Men already and these just don't seem much different from that.  Outside of Hawkeye and Black Widow, they're just not appealing to me.

Yes, a little photoshop work on the eyes, chest and hands. The new IM (like many from the Avengers line) is under-articulated to be truly a great figure but it is still a pretty solid figure and capable of some nice poses.

Nice photo edits.  I definitely like the one in your photo more than what I see in the aisle!

Maybe IF the previous Thor and Cap lines would go on clearance (instead of just disappearing) I'll pick a few up but the line seems a little underwhelming, considering the price.

It is sad seeing the scale of the figures on the hellicarrier
hope we get some close ups of Fury and the baddies on the rides soon too

Nice!  I may have to stop in there tomorrow when I'm in NYC.

if you do, check out the articulation on those bad guys.  I am presuming they have both knee and elbow articulation since some of them are in different poses, but the articulation looks very well hidden.  Also see if there is a difference between the baddies on the ground and the baddies on the flying chariots.

Also, see if you can get some more details on Fury.  It looks like he is ultra articulated as well, but the pictures I have seen have glares.  Also, is his coat plastic?

thanks
