I didn't think my disinterest could be greater.  Apparently it can be!

I understand entirely, but I was talking with my buddy in Japan (he and therefore I both missed out on the Vader b/w, which sold out considerably faster than Fett or Leia did) and there's a different appreciation in Japan for the b/w stuff.  According to him and considering he's Japanese, he should have a far better grip on the situation than I, there's an artistic appeal in the b/w versions that is more appealing to that culture than are the colored versions.  Different strokes and all that.  Many of them end up on ebay of course, but it seems many are still staying in Japan even when sold on ebay.  It's a cultural thingy.

Interesting insight Brent.  It's neat to see how interest in an item can vary from region to region.

Usually I've got to have anything Vader-related, but I think I'm going to pass on this one.  I really like the 'animated' style, but his pose is just so bland -- if it was an action pose like Fett, maybe I would have gone for it.

That being said, I've only ever seen pics of this, it may look a hell of a lot better in person.

While these are really cool, I just don't have the room (or funds) for statues.

In regards to the B&W versions, at first I thought they were just "double dipping," but after examining the Vader one, I've come to like them - how cool is that white lightsaber with translucent blade?

Vader has officially hit. I saw them today at a local collectibles show. Very nice indeed!

Well I am a Vader whore, so I will be picking up the color version and if I am able to will take a shot at ordering the B&W version once they pop up on the GG site.

I picked up the Boba for $60, which is a nice piece, but happy I am not a completeist, these B&W versions with really low production numbers would be a real bite in the wallet to keep up with.

Whoa, that's kinda slow :-\  Geez, I already have my b/w Leia/R2 in hand.  I think I've had my colour version for two weeks or more.

Not sure why BBTS got them in late but I'm sure it will be worth the wait.  ;)

I received my Boba Fett maquette. Fortunately no damage, as it is one fragile looking piece. I cancelled my order for Leia/R2, as I am trying to focus the collection a little sharper, but I couldn't let Fett get away.

I was supposed to receive my Vader Maquette tomorrow via UPS but I just checked the tracking and it's been pushed back to next Tuesday >:(. Damn the holiday season! ;) Looking forward to receiving that one.
