Lego Mini Planet/Ship/Figure Sets
« on: January 4, 2012, 07:49 PM »
These are available on Lego Shop for $9.99, and some sweet pics of Series 1!

Given Hasbro's F-You to collectors this year, I'm even more interested in these and less interested in Hasbro product, so I'm definitely going to collect this small sub-line.  It's too cool to pass up IMO.

Ditto, I may stop collecting the Hasbro toys, and just collect Lego.

I like these planet sets, and hope they sell well so we'll get more.

I cannot fathom that these will do bad...  They're just so neat.  They're a cool way to get out mini everything in one set.  I'm really taken with the concept.

Yeah I want two or three of the TIE set alone to army build pilots. My only fear is that the PT sets draw me into buying the larger PT sets. Like, I want the Naboo set but I'm afraid having the pilot will force me to buy that $50 Naboo Fighter set so he can have something to fly.

These sets are awesome.  How does Lego keep releasing cool stuff for what seems like lower prices?  That Endor set has 4 minifigs, a speederbike, and a tree for $13...I swear those similar sets were $15 last year.  I am definitely buying me some lego this year.

Saw these today but passed for now... the only negative is the packaging, which exposes parts of the planets, and is basically really easy for people to break into and steal everything (which happens A LOT in my area over the last few years).

Saw them at TRU this week as well and passed till either a sale nets me them for a ltitle less, or at least a lower pricepoint at Target/Wal-Mart (I hope).

Yeah, I hate TRU's jacked up prices.  Once they hit the Lego Store, Walmart or Target, they should be $10.  I have a $25 gift card from Xmas to the Lego Shop that I was going to use on them, but they weren't in as of last Saturday.  I think the new sets hit Lego Stores earlier this week, so they should be there next I go.

When is Target supposed to reset w/new LEGO?  $14.99 is a tad too much for these @TRU...

I haven't been back to double check if they raised the price, but I only paid $11.99 when I got them at TRU a couple weeks ago.

$12 was teh price at my TRU as well but I thought the MSRP was $9.99 on these, which I'm ok with that.

Huh...$15 at my TRU.  Guess they're trying to make up for those cheap slave I sets....Hopefully Target will reset in the coming weeks so all will be balanced in the galaxy once again.

Saw these at the Bloomington TRU today for $12 each.  Pretty cool sets - I would definitely get them on sale or clearance.

Felt bad for Kmart and was out of the way so picked up the Death Star and Naboo...No sign of Tatooine though and they had exactly 10 sets.  Huh...oh well.  $9.99 wasn't too bad.   :)
