Yeah, based on what I'm seeing on the boards things have really cooled.  I'll probably keep track this year to see how much I can sell rather than buy.  I'll also keep track of what I do buy as there are a few things I know I'll pick up and a couple on order already.

eFX Vader Helmet (have spent zero so far this year)
GG PGM Spiderman bust.  ??
Minivans: a sign of the apocalypse.

I used to have a bunch of the MR helmets which were awesome but when I discovered I didn't have that much room I sold them.  I did like them as collectibles and wanted to go OT so I picked up the eFX Stormtrooper helmet and the Vader was a natural when they released it.  I'd contemplated chasing the MR versions but decided against it.  I think they were technically PT versions as well.

Trying (failing) to scale back the collection to some small titanium ships, some higher end collectibles (MR Saber hilts for Vader and Obi, the latter I still need and will only go with Episode IV), a pair of helmets, my Sideshow PF Vader and Obi and then the vintage collection with it's best modern counterpart (that I already own) and a smattering of others in the 3.75" scale like the McQuarrie stuff.
Minivans: a sign of the apocalypse.

I finally bought my first items of 2012... If these $4 figure sales keep going, I'll sure be able to stretch my budget again this year. I'm thinking probably $1000 tops for the year me. The way the last two years have been with distribution and the amount that I've cut back due to price increases that shouldn't be a problem for me.  :)

January - $0

February - $68

-Star Wars Vintage Wave 11 and an assortment of TVC Army Builders (All clearance priced) $41
-Sandstorm Lando, Darth Sidious, Endor Rebel, Darth Maul, Admiral Ackbar $27

March - $271

    -TVC Hoth Rebels $27
-TVC Sandtroopers, TLC Chewie, BAD HK-50 $20
-TVC Rebel Fleet Trooper, Endor Pilot Set #1 $41
    -Star Tours Boarding Party $30
    -Random figures $21
    -2010 Hoth UBPs $102
    -Mass Effect 3 for XBox360 $30

April - $87

-TVC Luke, and 2 Crackens $30
-POTJ Tessk, TLC Imperial Scanning Trooper, TLC Concept IG-88 $30
-3 Game of Thrones Posters $27

May - $5

    -TVC RFT $5

June - $10

    -TVC RFT $10

  2012 TOTAL - $442

I'd hate for Ryan to be the only tracking in here, so I'll put in my 2 cents.  ;D

Jan = $202.20 -- highlight: GG Darth Maul Bust
Feb = $209.66 -- highlights: Polish bootleg Vader, Kenner Landspeeder
Mar = $284.76 -- highlights: Kenner Vader cardbacks, Japanese Pepsi figures, TVC, Mighty Beanz
Apr = $467.07 -- highlights: Kenner US 77A Vader w/Canadian tag, Kenner CDN cardbacks, 12" Lili Ledy Vader

There have been a number of TVC figures, but I've been patient and only paid sale prices on the few that I've bought.
