Padme custom restoration
« on: February 3, 2012, 10:31 PM »
I recently got around to unpacking my custom figures for a new shelf in the office. One of the figures I did was Battle Arena Padme. I made her from a Microlady and used latex for her clothes. She originally looked like this:

Now she looks like this:

All of the latex is desolving into one gooie mess. It's like her clothes are melting off.

My plan is to restore her. Any suggestions?

That's a shame... I remember when you first made that figure and being blown away by the latex/balloon method.

I'd say maybe try and remove all the "melted" aspects and use the same method...?  But, the Evolutions Padme is also a  great figure just in case you can't restore this.

That one took the most damage. The other two are falling apart also.

I'm thinking about combining parts from a white micro sister to give the look of the white outfit. I'm not sure I'm going to like the look. Maybe I'll just reapply the latex again. I got it mostly off.

That's a shame man, hope you can restore her to her former glory. The method you used was and is quite sensational.
