I'm thinking it's probably tommorow as well. They probably need time to sort through all the extra inventory and whatnot. That and I feel like it'll happen around noonish, but that just may be cuz I'm so used to the Mattel sites way of doing things.

they say that the need to count and readjust inventory, but from all reports I heard that almost all of the exclusives sold out on the Con floor - so what is there to readjust?  Unless there was more product then what was on the floor and they were really just trying to drive demand (which) I really doubt was the case, then I dont believe this to be true.

I really want the MU MoE set, and probably both Jinx figures and it sucks cuz I would from 7:00 - 12:00 and I will be stuck in a car the entire time (I teach drivers ed in the summer this year).

I was thinking the exact same thing.

The only rationale that I can think of is that they want to put up a SDCC section all at once and while the Carbon Freeze chamber may have sold out at the convention, other exclusives did not - so it's those pieces that need to be worked out.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - I don't understand why they just couldn't make it so you could pre-order this thing, pay one price for pick-up and then pay another price for shipped-to-your-home. I'm sure there are even people who go to the convention who would take the ship-to-my-home option just so they didn't have to deal with the big thing at the show.

My understanding is that they actually have some set aside specifically for the website, plus adding whats left over from the con itself to that inventory. At least thats what I've gathered from other peoples reports from previous cons where everything sold out on the floor.(last year being an example.) I'm pretty sure they had everything on the site last year despite reports of them being sold out on the con.

So this is just another way for Hasbro to make it hard for us to give them money for their little pieces of plastic.

The Freeze chamber was one of the last of the exclusives to sell out, sometime on Sunday. The My Little Pony was first on Saturday I think. All said and done, the only one left by the end of the show was the Masters of Evil set.

Well I think we just passed last year's "opening time" at hts so perhaps everything really is gone.  Honestly I'd rather have it this way then spending a few hours getting the run around and getting nothing out of it.

no they are not gone, they always hold back a supply for HTS.  I have even called and confirmed this year with them.  the people at HTS say it is all up to corporate when these go on sale and supposedly the people at HTS have no clue

Didn't last year's exclusives go up on HTS like 2-3 weeks after SDCC? I remember I ordered that Indiana Jones set on like July 31

Huh. SDCC being early this year has really thrown off my sense of time.
