I am telling you, Hasbro has been wanting this for a LONG time now - probably since the beginning of the TAC line.  I seriously think these "distribution issues" are just part of the bigger plan for Hasbro to cut out the middle man - i.e. retail stores.

Preordered two cases from EE, just so I can be guaranteed two Royal Guards. ::)

At least with the original assortment had only two figures I don't need. Guess I'll be selling or trading the extra non-army builders.

I'd definitely be interested in buying the Weequay figure from you if you're kind enough to set it aside for me.  Please.  :-)

+1

Not happy about shilling out $280 for these, but I guess it's not that far beyond retail.

I hope they'll take some of these for a few cases too...

Thanks for the tip. I put an order in for two cases. Hopefully I can get rid of the extras.

...I have a feeling there's going to be a lot of "extras" up for sale/trade from collectors later this year.

It sure is nice that Hasbro didn't double up on the Royal Guards/Republic Troops and can a couple of the TPM repacks...  ::)

Oddly most of my extras will be the OT characters, but I definitely could have done without the DTF figures being repacked in the assortment.

Yeah, I'd definitely would  like a couple more Royal Guards but I'll probably be happy with whatever I get.

I could've passed on the Mawhonic repack, but otherwise I'm okay with this case pack.  BTW, BBTS has more of these cases in stock as of today.

I'm pretty savy on Rebel weaponry, and I know Nein Numb's rifle is also a sorta update of the POTF2 figure's rifle, but am I wrong in thinking this is also a rifle that's briefly seen on Hoth?

Anyone able to back me up on that?  I know Hoth Rebels have more than just the typical rifle we've seen with Hoth/Endor Rebels in recent years...  There are other rifle types around in that sequence, and I'm now wondering if Nein's BFG is a screen-accurate piece of hardware.

I know those TPM guys are repacks, but I held off on buying the DTF ones because I wanted them on vintage cards.  I'm glad I held off.
