Nice! Thanks for sharing Paul!

Great to see that all nine domes were there for you as well as all the parts.

Would it be too much trouble to ask for you to put together the following combinations and take pictures of them:

White w/Yellow R2 Dome on new Gray body
Blue w/Yellow R2 Dome on the White w/Yellow & Gray R2 Body/Legs
White w/Red & Black R6 Dome on the Red w/Black R2 Body, black middle leg and white/black left/right legs
White w/Gold R7 Dome on the white w/black R7 Body you currently have the new R6 dome on
White w/Blue R8 Dome with the same body you have it on now but with the White w/Blue legs and White middle leg
Silver w/Black R9 Dome on Goldie's body

Thanks!

(Edited post to make it clear that I was't asking Paul to pick up droids for me, just that I wanted to see how those combinations looked)

When to Disneyland last night and picked up the droids for those that emailed me.

The Star Trader only had the new sets of parts. The droid bodies are still the BAD sculpts but they removed the lower hole on the side. Also there is now only one leg instead of a left and right version. They removed the wires around the lower leg. This should make it easier for lay people to build a droid without two left legs. Also the hats are brand new. They include a Oswald the Lucky Rabbit hat, sumbraro, imperial officer hat and a regular Mickey hat. I think that was all of them. The old two pack clam shells are gone. They only have the one droid version.

Can you still get the 2-pack pricing with the single figure clamshells?

Yes. The single containers are the only ones they have. They give you a discount of $3.95 when you buy two.

Yes they do. If I remember correctly its about $85. They went up $30 after their initial release. Those can be picked up at the World of Disney outside the parks too.

I ended up buying mine a few years back from the disney online store for 85 with a coupon and free shipping. Probably use the merchandise hotline to buy it.

Would those imperial officer caps fit 6" figures? (pegs aside)

I think the hat would look really silly on a 6". I don't think it would fit well without adjustments.

Was at Disneyland yesterday talking to a cast member who works in the Star Trader so take the following with a grain of salt.

She said the current wave 2 droids are currently Disneyland exclusives but will be available at Star Wars weekends next month. However, wave 3 droids will be replacing them this summer. Not sure if WDW will have both wave 2 & 3 at the same time. The diamond R2 will be a Disneyland exclusive and not available elsewhere. She said there should be plenty at the Star Trader and won't be a special event deal. They are expecting them soon.
