When's the last time Lucas had a good, rational idea about anything? 1978 or 9, whenever he decided to let someone else direct Empire?

I'll hate on Last Crusade every chance I get, but all the stupid bull**** they've done with that franchise since then makes it look like a masterpiece.

Absolutely.  I really did not care for much of KotCS.

On the Star Wars topic, yeah, Lucas lost his **** around 1998 while we were going batty over cheap Star Wars toys at Hills stores, and he was getting told everything about TPM's production was great by Rick "I've got saggy balls in my mouth" McCallum.
