Bon Jovi...I don't get it

Can someone please explain to me why Bon Jovi is:

A. The official Band of the NFL
B. Still allowed to take the stage anywhere
C. Played at all sprting events?

I just do not get it, femma rock to the max and all of their songs are the same.  A gets me the most, how many NFL fans are huge Bon Jovi fans?

Not really sure why Bon Jovi is "THE" singer for the NFL, but he does a great job.  I've never really been a die-hard Bon Jovi fan, but he does well for the NFL.  I just wish he would sing other songs besides the one that goes, "It's my life, and it's now or never."  That's getting kinda old, but it's a lot better than some stupid rap group singing on stage.  They used Sheryl Crowe at the NFL Pro Bowl and she did an awesome job.  I would personally like to see Aerosmith perform for the NFL.  Now THAT would be sweet!

I'm actually a closet Bon Jovi fan and they're one of my guilty pleasures.  Not my favorite band in the world but enjoye them nonetheless.  I'm originally from NJ and I think there's actually a law written in the state Constitution that states that you must be a fan in you live in NJ - along with Bruce.

I like alot of Bon Jovi's earlier stuff...  As far as them being the "Official" band of the NFL...  I say whoever the fans like,  let them perform.  Don't just stay with one artist.  They do say that variety is the spice of life.

Don't knock Joysey until you've been there (and then you can knock it all you want  ) Actually, Jersey gets a bad rep because of the Northern part of the state and most people don't even know about South Jersey, with its thousands of acres of farmland (its not called the Garden State for nothing), beaches, parks, etc.

And BTW, the Giants suck ass.
