I was just wondering today if they would still be stocking any figures or not going forward. The one near me sold through most of what they had in their wheelbarrows, so it seems to have done well for them. They're definitely worth a stop for me at least once or twice a week...

See my previous post.  They may not be "out" of figures.

I disagree...  I think price is the bigger factor in what moves or not, though immediately after the holidays isn't going to help.  They'd have done a lot better in the weeks beforehand.

Anyway, all the figures everyone said sucked flew out the door of 5 Below when they got them in.  Even the ones they have had that have lingered like some of the AOTC Wave figures, each store was getting literally dozens of cases and sold through easily 90% of it...  It's price, not perceived quality or anything.  $5 just blows stuff out the door.  I think these TPM3D figures will go.  Some more than others (Astromech, Destroyers, Naboo guys whose heads swap well, etc.), but I think they'll move alright over time.

I agree - the price at $5.00 is going to move most of those figures.  Especially anyone with a lightsaber or an army builder.  If I see DTF stuff, I'll be buying more Tuskens for sure, maybe the Destroyer Droid and Gungans too.  Just too good of figures to pass up for that price.

just don't forget to check amazon before you go buying a bunch of Naboo pilots (currently $2.64 on amazon) or Gungans (currently $3.45 on amazon)

Still free shipping $25+?  Or did that end with Christmas?

I'm Geeked for the destroyer.  It's a great figure and the shield was better.

most things sold by amazon are always free shipping over $25

the things that aren't free shipping are usually just sold via another seller on amazon, but even then a lot times they can still qualify for free shipping

I haven't seen any new figs at 5 Below since aroudn the holidays (I hit the one in Monroeville, and occasionally the one in Pigh Mills)!

If you think of it and ever see new figs show up there, please shoot me an email.  I've been trying to gra one of ea. now that they are $5.

Thanks!

By the way they just got in the Fighter Pods.  4 packs are $3.  At that price, I grabbed 2 packs for the kids.

I found more Wal-Mart TPM figures at Five Below yesterday. It was an odd assortment (no gungans, two each of the Destroyer and R5 droids, then one each of the rest) so it looks like they might be splitting cases. I happily picked up the Maul and Sand People, which were the two figures not present the first time I found the wave, as well as the two Destroyer Droids. This wave did suck at $10 per figure, but at $5 it's really great!

I scored some DTF figures a couple of days ago, too.  At $5 a piece I was happy to pick up another Tusken Raider, the Gungan and the R5 droid.

Saw a mix at 5 Below tonight.  Checked for my 2nd DD tonight but it wasn't there to be had.  They had some good figures, Naboo Pilots and whatnot, but I wasn't interested in more at the moment.  Staying strong on more things from a movie I have grown to not really like.
