Yeah that's terrible. What is up with this stupid trend of toy companies not advertising their other products on the back of boxes anymore?

Hasbro is finally being honest and admiting there's no reason to advertise product you cannot find in stores.

I got my case from EE last night.  Didn't get a chance to open them (we're moving next week, easier to just keep them carded for now), but I really liked the look of Anakin and Padme in person.  Biggs and Luke ended up looking pretty good too.

Smaller cardback sort of surprised me though.  I thought Hasbro said the collector-aimed cardbacks would always be in the 6x9" range, but they're pretty narrow.  Skimping and saving where they can I guess. :P

For the pics  shown there is more improvement in Luke
from Yavin vs its tlc version, with a more detailed jacket
deco, than in the biker scout, which lacks some paint applications
to match the original tsc vintage biker scout.

Not sure if this is the best place to ask.. but what the hell..

Black series - all original figures?  No repacks or repaints right?  What about the Clone Sergeant, Stormtrooper, and Biker Scout?

There are a mix of new repacked/kitbashed figures in wave 1.

Clones are repaints, Biker Scout is a repack of the Speeder Bike figures, Padme's new, Anakin is a kit bash of old figures with new sculpted parts. Biggs is a kit bash with new head I think. Luke is a kit bash with new parts

Okay, thanks... so the only figure in there that I'm guaranteed to already have is the Biker Scout.

Are the Clones repaints of the TVC Lieutenant they did last year?

Awesome, thanks again.  With the scarcity of brand new figures (characters that have never been made), and Hasbro's insistance on releasing core characters so frequently, it's getting hard to keep up with what's new and what's not.

Found them at TRU today... passed on most.  Picked up a Padme, Luke and green clone.

Saw them at our local TRU today as well, not sure if they were just put out today or not, but the entire case was still on the pegs I think.  Surprising how much smaller the cardbacks are (on the Mission Series as well), but I don't mind.  No sign of the 6" line, or the Legends, but they had the Mission Series packs there too.  Big difference in articulation and all of that of course, but it is strange seeing two packs right next to the Black Series figures for the same price.  Might make a difference with parents/grandparents/etc. come holiday time.

Still waiting to see if the official site will have these up soon.

Still no signs here.  Kinda annoying really since I really want to get Luke and Padamadme out of the way.
