6" Black Series Rumors

I found a listing for the 6" Han Solo (Bespin) on a couple sites today, including Amazon.

Nice find!  I wonder if it's going to be priced higher, because I do recall a question about this particular figure, related to pricing, in the Hasbro survey that was conducted last year.

Hmm, apparently there are 2 new exclusives coming...Chewbacca (Target) and the Mudtrooper (?). Wonder why they didn't mention these at TF.

They did mention them - Chewie was not ready to be shown but mentioned (originally was a Han/Chewie 2-pack, but later changed to just Chewie it seems); Mudtrooper is here.

The Jakks image that was part of today's photo dump seems like THAT is the Mudtrooper.  It looks like a cross between an AT-AT Commander and some WWI German trench soldier with a gas mask.  Because the labeling for this trooper as I've seen it on packaging seems to be Stormtrooper (Mimban).

Oh, man - I keep messing up the mudtrooper and the mimban Stormtrooper (which is muddy).  Keep forgetting they are two separate things, sorry for that.

No worries!  I’ve been struggling to keep the new character and trooper names straight, too.   It wasn’t until I saw some packaged images in the past day or so that I got a better idea of the names.

Yeah, it is a bit confusing, so I guess there is no Mudtrooper confirmed for the 6" scale, but I have to think he is coming. It's a memorable design.

I think the Jakks figure is the first time that we've had any sort of real correlation between the appearance of the Mudtrooper and the name.  I'm fairly certain that we saw a Mudtrooper in a production still standing next to a 2-1B unit.  At least now we can distinguish between the Mudtroopers and the Mimban Stormtroopers.

Considering we've seen that Jakks Mudtrooper, and a Mudtrooper seems to be listed in the 3.75" Force Link figure line?  Hasbro is probably going to get around to putting that trooper in the 6" figure line.  Especially if you take into account the appearance of Han Solo in that Han & Chewbacca 3.75" figure 2-pack.
