B&N isn't really convenient for me to go, but I was in one today and they had scads of all the lines.  I got to look them over in person and some are a lot cooler than I thought.  I'd dig the whole Universal Monsters line, personally.

I also thought some of the Firefly and other characters had neat custom potential (I'm always looking).

Some were pure ass though...  but I thought the chrome Terminator, while kinda goofy looking, was goofy in a fun way. :)

I couldn't resist getting Aliens S1 and a few Terminator figures.  I thought they were cool at first, but might return the Terminators - $20 for two dollar-store type figures doesn't feel like as good of a deal as it did when I bought them.

Yeah, I think the deals online are the better route to go with this stuff than B&N purchases.  I want some, but I'll pick them up with orders at EE or something first.

I was at a comic convention over the weekend and saw a guy selling really nice custom knock-offs of this line. He had a whole series of V figures that fit in perfectly. He wanted way too much for them but it just reaffirmed what a great property this would be for them if the did it, IMHO.

25% off all ReAction figures over at TRU.com today...(online only)

On a different note, I bought the new Alien wave on ebay (4 figures total) for a shade under $11 a piece shipped. No telling when these will show up in stores...

Got the 2nd wave of Alien figs in the mail today...they all look really nice. Nice to have them on minty unpunched cards too, although I wish they could have gone with a limited run in the blue cardbacks ala the first wave.

For anyone else that might care, the EE exclusive clear Invisible Man Universal Monsters ReAction figure is now in stock. I actually bought one off eBay cheaper than it would have been from EE, which was odd, but I'm not complaining. I just recently picked up the Glow in the Dark Creature from the Black Lagoon too so it will be nice to have a complete collection.

Have heard we may be getting Gremlins figures from these guys next year. Bring on Phoebe Cates!!

It's been a while now but I found one of the big displays of figures at B&N and picked up an Alien and Rocketeer.  I like them both and was happy to see them in person rather than ordering online.

My Target moved on from BttF to Firefly and they disappeared the other day and they have Horror figs like the Crow and Freddy Kruger.  It seems like Target is rotating them out which is cool. I'm hoping they maintain that end cap of collector figures, even the Funko Pop! Vinyl and Disney blind-boxed stuff is selling well.  Not so much the 6"-ish video game characters.

I also saw a bunch of figures at TRU last time I was in and looked through the other Alien figures along with Terminator and a few other lines.
