6" Black Series Store Finds and Recent Purchases

A buddy bought a Death Squad Commander for me last night, so now all I need is R2 and the Jawa to be caught up. With the amount of 40AC stuff that has shown up here (virtually nothing), I guess I should start searching EE or Amazon.

I finally found the 40AC carded version of R2-D2.  And at a Best Buy of all places!

Slowly but surely chipping away at this.  I need Luke, Obi-Wan, Leia, Threepio and Chewie.

I had a 15% off coupon for TRU and picked up a Death Squad Commander.  It's nice to actually use a coupon like that on something new!

I picked up a Lando at a local Gamestop to trade my buddy for a DSC mentioned above. It was the only Star Wars figure they had in the store (they had 8 Landos total), and even the price sticker just said "Lando" which makes me wonder if they got a solid case in.

They almost certainly did.  I just went to a ThinkGeek store and saw solid cases of both Qui-Gon and Lando.  If only they had solid cases of ERG's!!!!

I picked up two more ERG's this morning at a distant GameStop. Long drive, but worth it.

I found remnants of Vintage Wave 2 at Target today, oddly enough. They had a Jawa and 2 DSC's, so I picked up another.

Having bad luck with C3PO. He was damaged in the case I ordered and so was the only one I've found at retail.

The figure was damaged or the box?  I haven't seen any damaged figures in this line as of yet, so would be curious to know what you found.  Does he have something fragile to watch out for?

One of our local Walmarts dropped the price on the Vader set to $15, so I grabbed an extra. Probably should have bought all of them, but I can always go back I guess.

$15 is a steal. I'd definitely buy another.

Yeah I went back last night and they were all gone. Oh well, hopefully this price drop spreads to the other stores soon.

I did manage to find the "variant" Jango with un-weathered arms and legs at Barnes and Noble for $9, so that was cool. I'd been meaning to track that down for awhile.

Never got Jango. $9 would be hard to pass up. Not a completist with the six inch, though that gets harder and harder.

Discovered a site called Toy Dojo last night that was selling a lot of SDCC exclusives and specializes in Japanese figures and Transformers merch. Turns out they recently opened a brick and mortar store here in town, so I stopped by after work to check things out and ended up buying a SDCC Thrawn. Paid $90 for it, but I'll probably try to trade it for some other rare stuff.
