Wow, actually, yeah...  Kanan looks a lot like the guy that piloted the ship in that movie. :)  How about that?

Since Jesse was ogling his 12" Soap Bottle Kids Figure, I thought I'd fast track his Legends figure - Agent Kallus, a decent looking Imp dude:

Saga Legends Basic Figures Toy Fair shots are up now

Apologies if you're into this line, for some reason a lot of my shots were pretty fuzzy.  I salvaged what I could, and it focuses on figures we hadn't seen yet - Ezra, Kallus, and Stormtrooper.

Sweet brain bucket.  A cross between a Naboo guard and a Death Star Trooper.

It looks like his weapon is a bumper jack.   :-X

I like the Roman Legionnaire style helmet on Kallus. He looks like an officer who doesn't mind getting into combat. I'll probably pick up the figure, and I look forward to learning about the character on the show.

Nice! So six figures shown off, plus Zeb in the 2-pack, looks like a solid first wave. Love the McQ-inspired helmet for Better Than Ezra. Agent Kallus was a cool new reveal too. This line has got me, for sure.

Kanan oufit has a slight ressemblence to Kyle Katarn´s.

The Rebels´stormtrooper is curious enough to draw attention but it has needed more black applications on its paintjob.

Interesting offerings for this first wave.  And safe.  The reveals of the past week have given us a little insight into who these characters are prior to Toy Fair.  I expect that the REBELS line of Saga Legends is going to be timed in such a way as to not give up too much about the show early on.

In a perfect world I'd like to see some more articulation in the figures.  And with the core characters we'll probably see them in a premium format with movie-realistic likenesses.  But the limited nature of the line so far makes it manageable.  And here's to hoping that the show will be good.

Everything looks pretty good so far, and looking forward to the show. I like the designs of the characters, especially Zeb and Agent Kallus.

Yeah, I'm really digging Zeb as well.  The figures don't look too bad really, for the price.  Haven't decided what I'm going to do with this line for sure, although I'm pretty excited for the show so I may cave.  I collected most of the CW run, but ran out of display room so most of them are packed up now.  I'm more excited for the time period this show is covering, and it looks like it could be a fun line with the new vehicles and stuff.  Seems like, at least from what we've seen so far, they are taking a little more conservative approach than with CW - but there could still be more stuff to be revealed I guess.

I didn't think I would be overly interested these Rebels figures due to the stylized look AND 5poa, but watching the character intro videos is slowly winning me over. The figures match the animation well, and the vintage-style articulation suits the simplicity and old-school feel of the designs. I will at least be picking up Chopper, Zeb, the Imp Officer, and some stormies. I won't be surprised if I end up getting all of the figures though.

Also doesn't help that these will be relatively cheap.  :P
