$130 was the rumored price, so it's good to see it hasn't magically increased along the way like some TRU exclusives do. :P

I have no desire to buy this set.  None.

I hope all the collectors who complained for Hasbro to put one new thing in these battle packs enjoy spending $130 for their 5th (6th?) version of Jabba the Hutt.

So it'll be $99.99 then after the sale?  ;D

Some are saying the set  not that overpriced if you count the 4 figures as $12.99.

Uh...sorry, not giving breaks to over-priced reissued figures, no matter how desirable they are.

Let's see the real value, break up every thing and sell it separately  on eBay.  :P

I agree, I find the set grossly overpriced unless you need most of it...  and especially the Rancor.  The WM Jabba came with a ton more goodies that I feel like a Jabba without them is a tad naked.  The Rancor's cool, so if you need it that's good.

The figures, eh...  I'd say only one's truly desirable, and that's the Gammie.  The others, weren't terribly tough to get.

Ebay prices put the loose Rancor around $50, (which was its original MIB price, with a Luke included)

After that are Jabba and the 4 figures worth $80? Just don't see it.

GH has a closer look at the all-new Jabba.

So, confirmed to be 100% new...  still not worth $130.  :-X

What a weird thing to retool.

Kind of like the Wv8 Boussh Leia having so much new tooling to it, and not building off the last figure.  No clue why.  ???

Yet we still don't get a new Yak Face. The only one we have is from POTF2.

The new one is the top picture right? I like the bottom one better.

That is the Walmart Jabba throne/dais.

In that pic, yes the top one is the new TRU Jabba.

Yeesh, the old one looks much better, almost as if it came right off of the screen. Hasbro really nailed that one. This new one looks like a disaster where they had too many cooks in the design kitchen. Way too compressed, if that makes sense.

Looks like the tail/bottom half of the "new" Jabba is the same as the Jabba Goo/Saga 04 Ultimate Jabba too.

Well, this sucks.  I guess the days of offering multipacks that are either all new or all repacks are over.  And this Jabba does look good, which makes things that much worse for people who have everything else in this set from previous releases.

One thing did occur to me though.  Was there some perhaps some contractual stipulation in the deal with WalMart for their exclusive SOTDS exclusive release that would disallow Hasbro from offering that Jabba in a retail exclusive for another chain?  It makes me wonder just a bit.

Good question. If so, I'm glad because that Walmart version was crap = accessories were good but that Jabba was like a dog toy.
