Anyone have the scoop on this?  Will there be a Vader on his own and this special pack or is this the only way to get him?  Is this an exclusive?

Based on all of the materials that were released, along with the case info, it looks like Vader only comes with the special pack.  Remember how Hasbro presented the 30AC coin portfolio back in 2007 with Vader?  I think this offering is along those lines.

Correct. Vader comes on the Vintage card inside the Legacy Pack only. He will not be sold on the Vintage card outside of the pack. Vader will be sold in the Black Series (red/black) box at retail later.

DS Commander and Jawa will also be sold in the Black Series boxes.

This Vader is the "new" Vader sculpt based on Rogue One, correct?

Correct.  It's the ANH / Rogue One costume.  From what I know of the distinguishing characteristics the lenses in the helmet are red/amber, the inner cloak goes over the shoulder armor, and the gloves are different.

A Brickseek search showed that these are starting to turn up in stores this weekend, along with wave 1 of the 40AC figures.

Someone in the STL area used the DPCI trick and got a Vader yesterday.

A couple around here have gotten them in according to Brickseek, but I couldn't find any out on the floor. Soon hopefully.

Well, I tried the DPCI mind trick today but was denied "because they have a street date of 4/16".

Now I feel like I have to keep trying different stores just to see if I can pull it off. Apparently it is working for some folks, like Steve noted above. Some stores even put them out on the floor I heard.

It sucks because they technically aren't hard street dated. The box is marked "don't put on shelf prior to April 1", there should be no reason they wouldn't pull/sell them now.

You mean they only got one per store or there was a limit of purchasing one per store?  I can't believe they only got one each, and I'm fine with limiting to one at first to make sure more people get them.
