I went for it. I officially voted for Sim Aloo. If you others follow suit, that's three of us!

I'm going with Sim Aloo just to get behind something others want...  Though I like Nick's choice on the Hammerhead captain cuz that guy was all kinds of balls out badass, totally owed a figure.  Hell he gave up his life for the Alliance.  Gotta love that, and we need a new Rebel.  We always need new Rebels. :)

But Sim Aloo it is.  Plus I want people to finally shut up about that craggy old bastard.  I really am not a big Dignitary fan, can't say I care about them is all, but this is something people seem to give a hoot about being a vinty figure and I want something to get some kind of a push that people want that isn't from the EU or something.  And I even like the EU!  Go figure.

Sim Aloo Ahoy.

After much preponderance, I've gotta vote with my heart.  And one of my two favorite things in this hobby is buying new Cantina Monster figures (buying Han Solo figures is the other).

Gotta vote for Tzizvvt.  This might be the only way to get him.  I'd love a Tonnika, but Tziz gets my vote because 'monster alien' always trumps 'boring human' alien.  :P

I sent in my Sim Aloo vote just now... as awesome as Tzizvvt would be, and as much as I'd love that, I just have too big a soft spot for the vintage line and always thought Sim Aloo was super creepy and awesome when I was little.

Just heard that the EU figure of choice is Ben Skywalker and claims of ballot stuffing!

It wouldn't be a Fan's Choice Poll without accusations of someone trying to fix the vote results.

This would be an excellent thread for other sites' version of a Sarlacc Pit.   ;D

Could there be other ways to do the Fan Choice Poll?  Yes. Maybe say one from each property (movies/EU/cartoons, etc) or do a rotation?  But that'd add to Hasbro's headache.

Less than ten hours left to vote... get those votes in if you haven't already.

Sim Aloo, Tzizvvt, and Yakface are all running pretty close!

I've been traveling and searching through JD on a phone is a little rough...can some dig out the last two-three 4" Fan choice lists and see how they finished up.  Seems like we never got the last one published and the middle one hardly any of those figures ever got made

I haven't updated it since 2015, but this was the last few open Fan Choice polls...

2006 winner = Quinlon Vos Darth Revan
2009 winner = Bastilla Shan
2011 winner = Mara Jade

If Hasbro was smart, they'd take that "who's left" list and start making $$$.  Piett update, Yakface update, Tzizvvt, Sim Aloo, Taym Dren-Garen, Dorme, Cliegg - so many great choices on there...

Since the 2015 Black Series line is set, I thought I'd take one last "Pre-TFA" look at the unmade fan poll figures...

- 2006 Toy Fare Fan Choice Poll = 23 out of 25 made into figures; 92%

- 2009 Toy Fare Fan Choice Poll = 12 out of 30 made into figures; 40%

- 2011 Hasbro Fan Choice Poll = 7 out of 20 made into figures; 35%

Who’s left?  Glad you asked.  I’ve compiled the list of left-overs into one easy to reference/discuss list.  The # in parens is the polls they appeared.

Anakin Solo (2006)
Cane Adiss (2009)
Captain/Admiral Pellaeon (2009, 2011)
Captain/Admiral Piett (2011)
Cliegg Lars (2009, 2011)
Corde (2009)
Darth Caedus (2009)
Dash Rendar (2009)
Vintage-deco Death Squad Commander (2011)
Dorme (2009)
RotJ Emperor Palpatine w/throne) (2011)
Guri (2009, 2011)
Jaxxon (2009, 2011)
Joruus C’Baoth (2009, 2011)
Kittster and Wald (2009)
Mosep Bineed (2011)
RotS Nute Gunray (2011)
RotS Funeral Padme Amidala (2006)
Queen Apailana (2009)
Queen Jamilla (2009)
Sergeant Doallyn (2009, 2011)
Sim Aloo (2009, 2011)
Taym Dren-Garen (2009)
Tey How (2009)
Toryn Farr (2009, 2011)
Tzivvzt (2009, 2011)
Yak Face (2011)

Depending on how you feel about Doallyn vs the Brock Starsher we got, I guess you could give Hasbro a 0.5 credit on that one...

Just heard that the EU figure of choice is Ben Skywalker and claims of ballot stuffing!

I'd believe it.  There's no way there's some sort of fan outcry for a Ben Skywalker action figure.

I'm a big EU guy. I like Ben, but he'd be way down on my list............

There isn't... but there is fan outcry (still) about Disney moving the old EU to LEGENDS status.

The goal of this group isn't to get a Ben Skywalker figure, it's to 'stick it to Disney' by picking a figure that Disney can't "appropriate for their reboot canon" (like they did with Thrawn and Rebels).  That's why they picked Jaina Solo for the Black Series 6" line last year.

It really sucks that they are basically co-opting this figure poll to try to send Disney a message because a) the message is going to fall on deaf ears and b) its ruining our chances to get Tzizvvt, Sim Aloo, or another OT figure that is long overdue.  :(

Who ARE these people and why can't we get the good guys to counter-hack them?

I want to see 1000000 last minute votes for a Gonk droid or something.

I hope all these knobs speak with their wallets and buy all the soon to be peg warming Jaina Solo figures when they're released.   ::)
