My Walmart had one of these out. It's way over priced at $179. The Snoke figure looks like he is as tall as Chewie but wears a gold bathrobe. Weird. They also had the gauntlets out too.

Mattel's Justice League playset seems much bigger.

Anybody buy this and crack it open yet?  Just curious if anyone thinks its remotely worth $180.

I'm trying to decide if Target's $180 markdown price ($200 normal) plus their $25 gift card deal is worth it at $165 total.

I'm not sure if this thing is going to sit and collect dust and be available for a deeper discount in the future, or if I should consider pulling the trigger now.

I just check out this review, and it seems like this playset might be a bit of a handful.

Good review. Pretty much what I expected.

Agreed - great review, thanks for posting Nick.

I have to pace myself this year and I'm holding off on getting one of these to open. I wonder if it isn't worth waiting a bit to see if there are some deeper discounts on Amazon in the future. I hate to say that, because I know we've all been looking forward to playsets, but I would have been satisfied with just a straight-up playset, not one that was a transformer - especially since the review seems to indicate it's the fact that it transforms is what causes it so much problems.

I ended up with $120 worth of Amazon gift card stuff for my birthday and figured this would be a good time to buy the playset, but looks like it went back up to the full $200.

Now I'm thinking I should wait at least a little while.  Surely it'll go up and down even if only by a little bit...

Surprisingly, these seem to have sold through at some of my local Targets, or were maybe shoved in back and not given shelf space.

I'm interested in getting this, but I didn't pull the trigger on this so will be watching for future deals.

Target has this set on sale this week for $179.99. And it might also qualify for their $25 off of a $100 toy purchase.

I hope Amazon matches the sale... I've got $145 in amazon gift cards just waiting to be used, but I was hoping to get it to drop down at least a little bit first.

Hmmm.  Kind of tempting at that price.  But I'm wondering if there might be a lightning sale down the line?  I waited out the AT-ACT, and Amazon wound up offering that for $49.99 in a lightning deal a few months after ROGUE ONE was released in theaters.
