6" Black Series The Last Jedi Wave 3

Work has been killing me the past week, so I've been trying to play catch up on stuff all week...  anyway, here are pics of upcoming 6" figures that haven't been officially announced for a wave yet - Resistance Tech Rose, basic release Supreme Leader Snoke, and Jaina Solo (Legends):

Ah!  I was wondering when Rose was going to turn up in this line.  I'm probably going to pass on this version of Snoke, but it's good to know that the basic version is available for those who can't or don't want to buy the exclusive version.

Pre-orders for this wave are starting to pop up at various etailers...  but with different assortments?  It's all a little confusing with various # schemes at the different etailers (some places are still counting waves since Black Series 6" started, some are only counting waves for red/black box look, some are counting TLJ waves since force friday II, etc). edit: Nevermind^* - BBTS updated their case assortment to match the assortment EE/Dorkside have listed...

So where does Jaina Solo fit into the Star Wars universe? Does this make her canon or still EU / Legends? I wonder if we will get a 6" Mara Jade someday.

Jania is still Legends, as in no longer canon. I'd say Mara is inevitable in some way shape or form, given her popularity, but that probably also hinges a lot on who Rey's parents turn out to be.

Since we get Jania, we now need Jacen Solo or maybe Darth Caedus.
 Kylo Ren should have been Jacen Solo.

Really bummed that I have seen remnants of this wave at multiple Targets this week. Always just the repacks. Luke, Rey, Kylo...even the Guard at one store.

Absolute worst time of year to be hunting new toys...and restocks are so unpredictable these could be the only ones they get in for the rest of the year.

Think my only chance to get these will be online, or if Walmart starts carrying them so I can actually use Brickseek.

God, I miss Brickseek for Target, that was an incredibly helpful tool for me.

The only figure in this wave that I'm concerned about getting is Jaina.  And it's based on past history more than anything else.  For some reason, some EU characters have been tough to get a hold of.  I'm sure that Rose will be easy enough to get.  And since I got the Gamestop version of Snoke?  It's easy to pass on the basic version.

I spent the past few days haunting multiple Targets and it finally paid off this morning as I found almost a full case of these at lunchtime. (One Jaina was gone already) I picked up one each of the new figures, including Snoke and battle-damage variant Rey (thanks Yakface!)...what a huge relief!

The best part about this is not having to worry about running from store to store this time of year on the hunt. Once that Walmart Kylo hits (and it may be already) that will be the last thing to worry about for awhile.

I saw Rose at a local store today, but not Jaina or Snoke.  But considering some of the recent sales?  I'm going to play the waiting game and try to get her for a sale price.

Considering she's been $16 or less on Amazon most of this past weekend, a sale deal on Rose should be easy to find.

Smoke?  Or Snoke?  I got the Deluxe version, so I'm skipping the basic version.  It's funny though...  I've been shelving my packaged TBS 6" figures in preparation for a big unboxing once I can get my collecting room a little bit better organized.  And seeing the holes in my collection for basic versions of figures that were also offered in multipacks is playing with my OCD.  I see the gaps in the numbering for figures like Jyn Erso (Target multipack), unmasked Kylo Ren (SDCC '16 exclusive), Vader (40AC early bird set), Thrawn (SDCC exclusive), etc, and it just gets me a little crazy.
