Rampage movie toys.
« on: January 4, 2018, 06:16 PM »
Like with Kong Skull Island, Lanard will be making Wal-Mart exclusive Rampage movie toys. Some potential for other uses here. Lizzie could eat a few dewbacks! Ralph can fill in for Fenris. George has the makings of a Grodd.

I saw all these new creature sets yesterday at Walmart...although I still think the figures look like utter shite, they actually do a pretty good job with the creatures and vehicles.

I actually picked up a few of the Kong sets on deep clearance for $5, which seemed like a decent value. I may grab some of the Rampage ones eventually too if they blast them out on the cheap.

I saw some of the 1:6 GI Joe collectors posting about that ape set. They were also pretty happy with the large Kong figure, especially now that it's getting blown out for as low as $10 in some stores.

I didn't buy any of the Kong sets but the jeep and boat looked pretty good.

The only set I'm thinking about picking up is the set with the 3.75" Rock figure...

I'm going to use the Rock's head to create a Jedi Master Dwayne Johnson figure for my good pal Jesse, who had such nice things to say about him on Twitter the other day. :)

There's a Kong-sized George with Dwayne   Johnson, too.

Hey, I'm willing to blow $9.84 on a RampageRockJediMaster custom for Jesse, but I'm not going to be spending $19.87 to do it.  I don't like him that much...

I caved on a $10 King Kong from Walmart today. He's pretty sweet.

Eh, I’ll take it. 🤷‍♂️

His force power will be smelling what is cooking and telling Sith Lords IT DOESN’T MATTER when they try to tell him who really killed his father.

Edit: his other force power is persuading all of Hollywood to let him into everything they’re doing.

How dare Dwayne take advantage of all the roles coming his way? Douche.  ::)

I had hoped for quite some time that his Hollywood career would tank so he'd come back to the WWE. Not so much. Was it last year he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood ? Good for him.

He learned it from the master Michael Caine.  Caine previously taught it to Samuel L. Jackson.

Didn’t realize the rock diehards would be upset. 😄

Seriously though he isn’t a terrible actor but he’s not always that good at some of the things I’ve seen him in too.  I liked him in the 2nd Joe movie though.  He was maybe the best part of it.😕

I think of the few Rock movies I've seen, Moana was the only good one. The tweet just had the tone that keeps me off social media. Obviously not very important
