Also the number of people asking for Pong Krell, who I just learned about now is crazy.

I took the whole NEVER offered in SA thing as seriously as I could.  This is what I came up with:
-Chirrut Imwe (Rogue One)
-Kanan Jarrus (Rebels)
-Admiral Piett (Return of the Jedi)

I voted for:

Dorme
Bannis Keeg
Bobbajo (TFA)

Decided to spread it around. So many choices. Satine... sigh.

I asked for a Tonnika Sister, Hera Syndulla, and Garrouf Lafoe (I want him in the line, he did something).

Hera after the premiere and her being in Rogue One (albeit not on-screen directly), and my Disney Chopper figure needs his best friend in the world.

As much as I love the TVConversation going on, on Instagram, and I love Hasbro reaching out like that, I think it's really really unrealistic for people to be thinking their suggestions are all being tallied up, looked at closely, etc.  I don't think Hasbro's just paying lip service.  They visit all the sites (contrary to some site's belief they're the bright center of the universe), still pay attention to what's going on around the overall community, but this Instagram thing is getting deluged and I just don't think a lot of these suggestions will get a 2nd glance really.

Some of them are flat out wrong because there are already existing SA versions (or damn close enough that IMHO they're wastes...  Death Star Gunner comes to mind), some are just so far removed from the popular characters and things, that I think they're just going to get swept aside.  Only a poll with strong support would get some of those EU characters even a glance I think.

But hey, that's some of the fun too.  You're getting to have your say...  Of course lots of people are abusing it.  Lots of people are ignoring the criteria.  It's a big reason Hasbro probably doesn't try to coordinate things more.  Coordinated discussion used to be easier, then it became a chore for all involved haha.

I wish everything I wanted would get made as an SA 3.75" figure for sure, but this line's got finite room in it I think, for the new.  Just my viewpoint right now I guess.

Oh yeah I’m not viewing this as some kind of fan’s choice with a different structure.  I think Hasbro is just taking their Instagram follower’s pulse a little, trying to expand their social media following (I’m following them there for now just for this and wasn’t two days ago), and maybe drumming up a few rough ideas while they’re at it.  I think we could definitely see some future figures that appear in the comments, but only if Hasbro decides they’re the best ideas for them going forward.

I think the fact that Hasbro is trying to set some criteria with each of these questions is a good thing.  It's going to narrow the field somewhat.  And if people ignore the criteria?  Then those responses will get eliminated and the legit ones will get a boost.

Characters that have never been offered as SA figures is a great place to start.  I tried to take that to heart in my own response, because I took it as the CHARACTER.  As much as I wanted to say "Luke Skywalker (Crait)" or "Han Solo (Takodana)", I know that there have been plenty of TVC Luke Skywalker and Han Solo figures before.  And no doubt TVC will get to these versions of Luke and Han at some point.

So where do we go with the next question?  The categories alone are going to be interesting because they may give some insight into how Hasbro regards certain segments of characters within the TVC figure line.  Are they more inclined to go with a trooper over a droid?  How many core characters do they want in there?  What kind of status do aliens from venues like the Cantina, Jabba's palace, the Outlander club, Maz's castle or Canto Bight bring to the line?

I went ahead and split out separate threads for these questions...  Hasbro has indicated that they might be reading through the forums here as well, so I thought I'd make it easier for them to follow along. ;)

My (selfish) top three are:
1 - Tzizvvt
2 - Yotts Orren
3 - Taym Dren-garen

Yeah, yeah Sim and Tonnikas and all that but Hasbro already knows we want those.  Better to vote for obscure things they may not be so sure about... :P

Sadly, I can't give my two cents. Don't have an instagram account and not interested in getting one.

Thanks for doing this Jeff, so much easier to participate here than on Instasnapbook....

My choices for never before done super articulated figures would be...

Princess Leia Organa (2004 version isn't SA  with those cut angle elbows)
Duros (Ellors Madak)
Squid Head
Jason F.
