Thanks for the additional info.  I'm very glad to hear that it's got a separate DPCI number, so there's less potential for it to cause a potential inventory logjam that might keep new vehicles from getting released.

So I guess the size and price point issues are more about sharing common shelf space and the planogram layout.

Looks like another Yakface rumor report = confirmed!

EE is taking pre-orders for a Wave 2 case of Solo 3.75" Class B Vehicles with the Imperial AT-DT (no pics yet).

That is AT-DT from the Star Wars Commander mobile game.  No idea how it will match up to Hasbro's Solo movie version, but it'll probably be similar.

So was this thing in the movie?  I can't recall seeing it but certainly didn't retain every detail in two viewings.

They were jumping/walking around in the background during one of the Mimban battle scenes - pic from one of the trailers:

Looks like a plastic missile instead of a Nerf missile.

I know people on here have a difference of opinion on Nerf in SW toys, but in general I think Nerf offers more play value.

One thing I've wondered recently is why SW toys that use Nerf missiles don't use the glow in the dark Nerf bullet feature that some of their guns have.  My kids love this feature with the guns, and I'm sure would like it with the toys.

Don't those glowy darts require electronics/light to 'charge' the darts?  Probably would add more cost to things people are already complaining cost too much.  Would have been cool on the nerf-shooting TIEs though.  :-\

Yes, but it can't be too much as you can buy those guns for full price for $30, which is more or less the same price of Nerf guns without the electronics.

Agreed it would inch up the costs, but maybe more interesting than packing in a figure.

My only gripe right now is I hope the cannon has a better version ala some past ships but in the grand scheme I’m in either way.  It looks surprisingly well done and a good scale.  The walkers in the film aren’t large and I’ve seen nothing to imply they had big crew areas either.  There’s a downed one in the movie too with a body near it that gives better scale idea.  I’m sure it’s in the visual guide too.

I like it!  Granted, you couldn't see these walkers too well in SOLO given the frenetic pace of the action in the scenes on Mimban.  And you were just barely able to see how the AT Haulers were air-dropping these onto the battlefield.

But from a design standpoint this walker seems like an interim step between the Republic AV-7 Mobile Cannon and the OT AT-ST.  That kind of connective tissue between eras is cool to see.

I'm also happy to see this being offered in the Class B vehicle line, rather than the more expensive Class C line.  I'm not crazy about this vehicle assortment selling for $29.99.  It seemed like vehicles in this range sold for $20 for a long time!  But it's definitely better than it selling for $39.99.

I'm down for more than a few. When something like this comes out, I have to figure out how it fits into my battalion.

Thanks Jayson!  Pretty cool looking.

Any sense for when this is going to make it to retail?
